Iron Fist will be cancelled after season 2, now running. It was the least popular of all the Marvel shows on Netflik. Daredevil now running.

NBC working on a spinoff of Grimm featuring some of the original cast plus new characters but still based on the same premise. David Giuntoli won't be in it though because he's got the new gig on A Million Little Things.

The local community college is ramping up its film crew training program to meet the needs of Netflik. They will need a continuous crew on staff. Previously the prod. crews would pick up jobs as productions came in, with no work between times. Now jobs will be more permanent. I can't do any prod. jobs that would require 14-16 hours a day, but I wouldn't mind getting a driving job, but that would require joining the Teamsters Union which is a trick in itself, they hire by nepotism, 'who do you know' , etc. , plus the 'joining fees' which are substantial, so that's not likely.

I am thrilled by the Grimm spinoff news. I wonder if that is why Grimm is suddenly on Netflix. And , I hope you do make it onto the crew some way. We all love having spies among the movie productions.

This actress on the show recently bought a turquoise necklace at a local store and posted a pic of it on her Instagram. It created quite a reaction here. "You can't buy this kind of publicity" said a local film exec.
