Malcolm and Marie

This is #3 on the Netflik most watched list for the week so I decided to take a look although I don't often watch full movies on Netflik. I can't unreservedly recommend it unless you enjoy an hour and 46 minutes of two people denigrating, criticizing, accusing, and dismissing each other as worthwhile human beings, the only two people to appear in the whole movie. It is rather exhausting to watch but there is no way that you can deny that they are a couple of very talented actors. To take on those roles required courage and they must have been exhausting to play. It's entirely in black and white, that suits the 'mood' and I'm pretty sure it was shot digitally rather than on film because you can see a 'fine grainy-ess' to the picture when there is a close-up scene against a white back ground, again, probably a deliberate 'mood' setter.
