I may have to re-subscribe to HBO Max to watch this. Zendaya is always worth watching although she has a small role and has said in interviews that she was on set for only a couple of days. The original books never appealed to me for various reason; I didn't know the correct pronunciations of some of the character names, and some are silly...Duncan Idaho..? and the concept of 'spice' being a drug capable of allowing interstellar flight... and the whole thing taking place 10,000 years in the future put it beyond 'normal' s-f concepts. But....this movie does seem pretty good and the trailers are interesting...so...
