Big Brother week 5

It’s officially Week 5 in the Big Brother 23 house, and after an intense battle of endurance, we have a new Head of Household. But like most HOHs this season, the pickings are slim since everyone is in an alliance with everyone. So will this be the week someone gets betrayed? Read on to find out what the nomination plans will likely be this week.

Big Brother 23 Live Feed Highlights – Thursday, August 5, 2021:

   7:41 PM BBT – Feeds return following the Head of Household competition. Derek X is the new HOH.

   7:42 PM BBT – Derek F tells Xavier he thinks he might go on the block. Xavier says he doesn’t think so.

   7:48 PM BBT – Derek X tells Hannah that Alyssa and Xavier are not hitting the block. He says those are the only things he agreed to on the wall. DX says but after they were on the ground, X told him he doesn’t want any of the Kings going up. But that wasn’t what DX agreed to before X dropped.

This adds some excitement and uncertainty.  Britini will certainly pull herself off the block forcing Derek X to nominate someone else. Speculation runs rampant....

Britini won the Power of Veto

Well, this should keep things fun! Third time was the charm for Britini who was not going to give up or let the other players have this one for them to work on their plans instead. Britini earned the medallion in hand to take herself off the Block, which you know she will do, and then DX will have to find himself a new nom. Think he’ll stick to the plan to put Christian on the Block?

The competition was a prize+punishment theme and that’s going to add a layer of drama to the situation. Apparently, Sarah was in a position to win the Veto but selected $5K over the Veto which Britini then took. Oops. That was a bad move by Sarah and could cost her her game.

Punishments included: DX has a 24-hour bathroom attendant role, Kyland got “Jackass Club”, Alyssa got a phone call, and still waiting on the others.
