Re: Prison Break
Did anyone see the season premire? It was way over the top but good. My friend Damon Carney will appear in the fifth episode this season and I'm hoping his part isn't cut.

Re: Prison Break
Episode tonight: Now that Linc is out of prison...why is he still shaving his head?
Like the weasel guy that's playing up to the inmate that runs the place...getting real tired of the weasel guard who is looking for another shoe.
I thought it was a real good and obvious thing for Michael to point out to his brother that since he's tied up in prison maybe the brother could be a bit more proactive about taking care of the hostage situation. Too bad that didn't work out so well.
To be honest, I liked the show better when people had hope. I'm finding this depressing which usually means boredom is not far off.
I will be sticking with it until your friend shows up,AR. :D
After that....I don't know.

Re: Prison Break
I agree it's tough to watch...waiting to see what happens to Sarah and LJ. Did not like the creepy ending from last week...and dreading what's coming.
Hmmm...are we at the 4th or the 5th episode? Damon is in the 5th episode. And it's "blink and you miss it." But I love seeing him and then telling him the next day...his whole face lights up.

Re: Prison Break
Maybe Banjo could grab a screencap of it, when you describe which one he is....he did that for me about Numb3rs...and I loved it. It was better than the posed pictures I took with the actors when they weren't busy.

Re: Prison Break
I've never watched Prison Break but I'll give it a try if I can figure out which one he is. New eps show here on Monday's. I can tape it and AR can tell me if he's in the ep, and how many minutes into it he shows, and clothes, movements, etc. With Berry it was easy because I knew who to look for, but was nevertheless blown away with their acting talent.

Re: Prison Break
Hey,I got 2 expressions into my bit. I was concentrating hard on the phone conversation (in my head) with a worried frown....then the stars passed by...and I leaned back with a self-satisfied half-smile as I contemplated another case well on its way to being solved because of my great phone interrogation skills.
Why that wasn't enough to merit a spin-off, I don't know. Darn Hollywood politics!

Re: Prison Break
Damon at IMDB is here... [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
He said it will be a very small part. If you watched the last episode of last year he was in the last 3 minutes of that show. He wore a lab coat and was talking to someone else in a lab coat about Michael...It didn't make sense to me.... so I asked him what it meant and...found out he has never watched the show...and didn't know...
They were filming Prison Break in Dallas this past Friday...but I couldn't get to it because of traffic and all the major roads to where they were (a red light district of all places!) had been closed down. Shoot!

Re: Prison Break
I'm recording it tomorrow so if you watch it let me know if he's in any scenes and description of when/what clothes/type of scene, and I'll see if I can get a screen cap.
Okay , I just went to the Fox site and full episodes can be viewed there. Oct 1st ep. is up now. I'll use that as the source because it's easier to get a screen cap. So if he was in last week's ep tell me where, otherwise I'll wait until next week.

I believe AR said that he would be in the 5th episode. Not sure when that is but I think we are only on maybe the 3rd this week.

Re: Prison Break
No he wasn't in this episode and I think it was the 4th one. I better ask him....
I'm not having much luck keeping up with things right now but that's another story...
Do you really think they killed Michaels girlfriend or is that someone else's head?
Just too intense...and I'm not handling intense too well...Hope Santa brings me TIVO for Christmas.

:dark: Nooooooooooo!!!!!
I did confirm with Damon that he is in next weeks episode.
Oh man! CG did the person who played Sarah want out of the show or did the writers plan this all along?

Re: Prison Break

Well...one of the show's Executive Producers was interviewed at tvguide.com and part of what he said was:
our
initial pitch to the network was [rejected], so we had to go back to
the drawing board. I remember we were sitting in the room thinking,
"How do we unlock Season 3, motivation-wise?" Since we're not a
procedural, we have to keep everyone moving forward. We have to evolve.
And given what Michael's been through, how do you keep him going? And
then it was tossed out, "What happens if Sara gets killed as an
extension of what we already had planned for Season 3?"
Soooo...it was the producer's idea initally but they then tried to get
Sarah Wayne Callies to come back for some shows (and kill her off
around November sweeps) but she wasn't interested after her full season
contract was cancelled.
I suggest that you read the full interview, it's interesting (and has a response from Sarah at the end of the interview.

Re: Prison Break
Thanks CG. Sorry I didn't reply sooner but...well..you know why..
I did talk to Damon today and he said that he evidently got cut out as well as the whole reason why he was in a scene in the first place. I hate this..and am more than a little miffed...but what are ya gonna do?
I want my friend to have some scene time!!!!
He is so good natured...and just brushed it off...and said...well...I got paid anyway...but I know him well enough to know he's disappointed.
:glare: Me too.

Re: Prison Break
Yes, but having a good attitude about it instead of complaining (I mean to the production staff) is the kind of thing they remember and they'll want to work with him again. And he still gets to have it as a credit on his resume. He did have the experience of working on Prison Break. Looks good for him and will help him land another role. 8)

Re: Prison Break
I saw this article at Mediaweek's website and thought you guys might find it interesting:
Fox Locks Up Female Prison Break Spinoff
A.J. Frutkin
OCTOBER 24, 2007 -
Prison Break may be trending downards for Fox, but the network believes
it still may be strong enough to launch a women-behind-bars spinoff.
The tentatively titled Prison Break: Cherry Hill will be written by
Matt Olmstead, an executive producer on the original series, and Zach
Estrin, a co-executive producer. Like the original, Cherry Hill will be
produced by 20th Century Fox TV.
Cherry Hill's central character--a woman who is wronged by the
nefarious "Company"-- most likely will be introduced in a Prison Break
episode later this season.
If the spinoff doesn't move forward, that character reportedly could continue as a regular on the original series.

Re: Prison Break
That's funny considering that WB guy who just announced that they wouldn't be making any more female-lead movies anytime soon...their others having tanked so bad.
Heh, Cherry Hill.......I lived in Cherry Hill,NJ. Prolly not where the new prison locale is tho.

Re: Prison Break
Used to go to the Cherry Hill drive -in when I was a kid. :D
Did you guys notice the bridge? That bridge goes over the Trinity River into Dallas. Yes, most of that was shot in Dallas and surrounding parks. Craig read that in the paper this morning.
I don't like the idea of a spin off... and I'm still mad about Sarah...

Re: Prison Break
Well....we can call this the unkindest cut of of all...because of my circumstances I'm unable to drive and haven't been at work so.......Yesterday...Prision Break was filming 2 blocks from where I work...all day...with Wentworth and Dominic...JUST KILL ME NOW! I'd known about this for a while...seems my dear hubby had an inside deal...His department was told they would have to go down and change all the street signs to read Spanish. So of course I bribbed every friend civilian and police status to please take a pic....do you think I got even one? (Whimper)
So here are some pics and a blurb on the city site

Here's a small gallery of pics on the Star Telgram site.

They may ask you to join but it's free...and you can "unjoin" after you look.
Sigh.....

Re: Prison Break
Arrrgh, sometimes you just get reminded of the old song "If I didn't have bad luck, I'd have no luck at all!" :comando:
If it's ANY consolation to you, unless you knew someone working on the set, you probably wouldn't have been able to get near enough to any actors to get a picture anyway. Probably what your friends came up against. Even as an extra we were told not to take pictures (even on camera phones) and certainly not to ask the actors to pose for pictures. Still, I know if you HAD been at work...and Wentworth Miller was "in the house", you would have found some creative way to catch a glimpse. Well,at least when they show that episode you'll be saying "I recognize THAT place!"
