Re: House
I've never watched House. The one thing I keep thinking about is at the BAT, Lisa Edlestein who plays the hospital admin. , so I'm told, was the first to leave the BAT. I watched her walk by where we were sitting at the table and she looked sort of.."who are these people?" Maybe she had to be somewhere, but I just remember that she was the first to leave.

Re: House
Banjo, what do you mean you have never watched House??? What the heck are you watching at 9pm on Tuesday night?? I love House. The doc says all those things you wish you could but would NEVER say to anyone......he always shocks me every week with something. Tonights episode was really good...but sad.

Re: House
Well, I skipped the results show last night so I could watch my favorite show, House. It was great last night. The best line of the night was when House was with a room full of applicants for the new positions open on his team. He has them all wearing numbers like you would in a Marathon or sporting event....pinned to their shirts. He says "Since you are all wearing numbers, we will go alphabetically." Ok, you had to be there, but there were many other great no-nonsense lines that House always says......
House is a great show......worth taping if you must watch the DWTS results show. For me, just tell me the results and I'm fine not watching it dragged out over an hour long show.

Re: House
I have a limit on how many medical shows I can watch. At the moment, GA, PP, and ER have the slots filled.

Re: House
You still watch ER, really???? What season is it in like 17th????
Another great scene in House last night was: He was calling on people by their number, and firing them by their number......so this guy who was wearing # 6 is fired and leaves the room and sneaks back in with the number turned upside down....House looks at him and says "didn't I just fire you????" The guy says, "no, that was # 6, I'm # 9" House lets him stay....because that was something he would do.
He ordered a few of the numbers to go wash his car....out of the blue.

[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]I think it's the 14th season for ER. They say this may be the last.
One thing I like about watching it is we saw the outdoor set when we toured the WB studios last year. It's amazing to see how much "mileage" they can get out of that small area, shooting from different angles and making it seem like there is a big hospital entrance right across from the "market". Not to mention the big hill in downtown Chicago. :D

Re: House
Another great episode of House tonight. Although it was kind of sad.......not all patients are saved by Dr. House. This show is very well written and acted. I'm surprised you don't watch it banjo, just to see the lady who plays Cutty. Didn't you guys meet her at the Bowl-a-thon??????

Re: House
Thanks for the picture, Berry. Her character is such a great contrast to House. I just love their scenes together....they teased us in one season that these two might get "together"....but it never happened. I guess it is better that way, keep the sexual tension there in the background.

Re: House
Did anyone see this week's episode about the guy with Spinal Muscular Atrophy?
I wonder how hard that was for Garrett to work on?
I cried a lot thinking about him and Zeke.
They did a great job though!

Re: House
I didn't see it. I'm torn between thinking I probably missed a great show and thinking I would feel awful watching it. But did they have some number after the show for people to get in touch with Zeke's charity. I just wondered.

Re: House
Other than the fact I'm mad that this show is on at the same time the results for Dancing With the Stars in on.......I watch House and tape the results show to watch right after....
Anyway, an interesting show last night......a woman seeing dead people....just in time for Halloween..... The last two shows have had some funny stuff. As you may know, House is selecting a new team to work with. Each week he eliminates someone. Last week, he held a "tribal counsel, like on Survivor" with lit candles and the whole bit.....last night it was the "rose ceremony like on The Bachelor"....he gave a flower to those who would stay another week.........it was really funny.

Re: House
Ummm......would that be a yes ?
But I sympathize with you because I have the same problem vis-a-vis DWS , Chuck, and Heroes, which I have to watch online, which is where I'm going now....

Re: House
Well, another night of flipping between Dancing with the Stars and House....I manage to watch both without taping either of them. Actually, I put the kitchen tv on DWTS and the living room tv on House and sit between them....
Another great episode of House, the writers are amazing on that show!!!! Too bad the strike may give us an unwanted break from this show!!!!!

Yeah, now we get to :waiting: until the strike is over and production catches up... But I totally support the writers!
On the other hand, my Tuesday nights are now totally free!

Not for me! I still have NCIS, The Unit, and Cane, even if DWTS is over, until they run out of episodes too.

This week's ep brought back some GREAT memories of the 2005 BAT!
Hubby loaned Jesse Spencer a wrist brace and gave him bowling tips!

Cool pics.....I just wish Jesse had a bigger role on House...I don't get why they brought in new people and the original three don't get that many lines anymore.......
