A new Jesse Stone movie in the works

Back from Maine which was beautiful, and getting ready for Halifax to do another turn as Gino Fish, in Tom Selleck's upcoming "Jesse Stone" film. No rest for the wicked.

I guess Selleck is squeezing in another Stone film before returning to Blue Bloods ?

Tom Selleck is transferring from CBS' Blue Bloods to the network's storied TV movie series Jesse Stone -- at least for one Sunday in May.

The first-place network will premiere Jesse Stone: Benefit of the Doubt on Sunday, May 20 at 9 p.m., The Hollywood Reporter has learned exclusively.

Selleck stars as the title character, who in the eighth installment of the franchise is forced to rely on his skills and intuition to sort through a maze of misleading clues and hidden meanings in a bid to crack a shocking and horrifying mob-related double homicide.

Kathy Baker, Kohl Sudduth, Stephen McHattie, William Devane, William Sadler, Gloria Reuben and Saul Rubinek reprise their roles, while Robert Carradine and Jeff Geddis join the cast.

Selleck, who exec produces the pics and co-penned the project, earned an Emmy nomination in 2007 for playing the Paradise police chief in Jesse Stone: Sea Change.

Tune in tonight for this new Jesse Stone movie with Bill Sadler.

I watched it but didn't see Sadler. He must have had a very small role, I wasn't out of the room very much....

You didn't see him in the swimming pool? He got out, someone wrapped him in a robe and then he sat down at a table set with a candle and tablecoth and had a conversation with Jesse Stone. There may have been another scene...but I was asleep before the end and have to catch-up tonight.

He looked good tho.

Nope, missed that scene....don't know why.

He ate an oyster. I wonder how many of them he had to down since I now know you shot the scene over and over from every angle! :D
