Good Emma Stone interview.....5 pages.

She is making the final rounds of the Amazing Spider Man 2  publicity tour. They have been all over the world for 6 weeks. Last night she was on Fallon and this morning on Live! With Kelly......which she said was the very last stop....period.

And one thing you can say about her, she can always bring a smile to your face watching her interviews. On Fallon he had her doing a "lip synching contest" where they took turns lip synching to goofy songs with tricky lyrics, which of course I never heard of, but she belted them out hilariously and "won" the contest hands down. There aren't many high level actresses that would even attempt that let alone pull it off.

Then on Kelly, Kelly complimented her on looking good in any of the several hair colors that she has to use, and how she is "super smart". So at the end of the interview Emma holds up her fingers and ticks off her "accomplishments"....."hmm..looks good with any hair, super smart"....she made it into a humorous self deprecation thing and it was really funny.

She does seem to have a very winning personality. I am always glad to see her name in the credits of anything.   

Emma's boyfriend was on Fallon last night. He seems like a "up for anything" sort of guy.

When Fallon told him that Emma beat him at lip-synching, he said (paraphrasing) "don't ever give her an opening like that. She will sling your body over her shoulder and carry you away". But then he called her "magical" and the audience goes..."awwww..."

I don't know why some people get so "involved", in their own minds, with someone else's appearance. Emma isn't 'skinny' imho, but is small just like some other high profile actresses, Emma Roberts, Michelle Williams and Rachael Bilson as three other examples. Any significant weight gains by any of them would result in the "stick out their arms to tell if they are walking or rolling" syndrome. They are who they are, leave them alone.

Anyway, last Saturday when Emma's boyfriend hosted SNL she rescued his opening monolog without planning to, probably. Even though it was rehearsed and he was reading from cue cards, the "nervous, stumblebum" persona he was trying to portray was getting a little incoherent. Suddenly Emma walks out to great applause (she wasn't sched. of course) and her spiel was probably rehearsed too, if only in her own mind, but she managed to get him back on track without seeming to. It was impressive.
