BB 13week 5 day 7
So today is the selection for the POV competitors, this morning, and the competition this afternoon. Not every one plays. Names are drawn from a bag. The two nominees play plus 3-4 others. The HOH can't play. I hope Dani has her name drawn. She would have a good chance of winning regardless of the type of comp. If she wins POV then she may not use it , leaving Jeff and Rachel on the block in which case Rachel would be the bootee. Although she has made an earlier agreement with Jeff and Jordan to not put either of them up if she were the HOH. Technically she didn't put Jeff up. Kalia did, so she may not honor her promise. But I think she would, and take Jeff off leaving Kalia to nominate someone else. If Either J or R wins then of course they would pull themselves off. Who Kalia would nominate to take the vacant spot is hard to say at this point. All the newbies are potentials. If one of the newbies should win than it becomes even more hard to predict. The possible combinations are so numerous that no one is bothering to predict at this time. But this afternoon when the POV winner is known , then we can narrow down the possibilities and of course you will see them right here. Oh joy !
Meanwhile Kubicek is on the case. He sure saves me a lot of typing...

'Big Brother 13' Spoilers: Who Did Kalia Nominate in Week 5?
John Kubicek
Senior Writer, BuddyTV
Kalia is running the Big Brother 13 house this week, and despite some general paranoia about the big twist that's coming (remember, the HGs have no idea what it is), things are pretty clear. At this point, the house has divided into three camps. There's the Pajama Jam Gang (Kalia, Daniele and Lawon), the Veterans (Rachel, Jeff and Jordan) and the Floaters (Adam, Shelly and Porsche, who switch to whatever side has power).
SPOILER WARNING: This article contains Big Brother 13 spoilers.
Kalia nominated Rachel and Jeff.
Obviously its war between the PJ Gang and the Veterans, and the fact that Jeff, Rachel and Jordan are all Have-Nots this week is just adding insult to injury. They certainly underestimated Kalia's ability to actually win competitions, and since everyone knows that the veterans would've targeted Kalia, Lawon and Daniele if they won HoH, this is hardly a surprise.
And to be fair, Kalia is giving them the opportunity to fight for the veto and not trying to backdoor them. Things may get sticky if one of them does come off, as Kalia would have to pick a pawn who would stay safe. Right now, Rachel is target one, Jeff is two, and Jordan is three, but Kalia is still willing to honor her earlier promise never to put Jordan up. But it's pointless, because Jordan still resents Kalia and thinks she's coming after her.
Now comes the hard part for Rachel. She might be good at HoH competitions, but she's never won a veto by herself. Will she find an untapped reserve of competitive energy without Brendon, or will she fold like a cheap card table and get evicted?
The funny part is that everyone in the house is convinced they've made it to the jury, but in reality, given the twist coming on Thursday, whoever gets evicted this week could lose the head-to-head challenge and leave in 10th place. So technically, if Rachel is so worried about spending the whole summer apart from Brendon, she might get her wish and join him outside the house after this week, meaning neither would have a vote on the jury and we would never have to hear from them again until finale night. That's a nice dream.
Equally funny is that the veterans are convinced that whoever gets voted out this week is definitely coming back into the game, (Dani doesn't believe it) which is just a stupid assumption to make, and Jeff and Jordan tried intimidating Kalia by saying that it's dumb to nominate strong players who are just going to come right back and target her. I really hope whoever gets evicted this week doesn't win the heads-up battle, because it will be so much more interesting if someone like Dominic or Cassi comes back.
It was funny last night to hear Jeff threatening Kalia...."I'm coming right back if I'm evicted ! " Of course he's going to be shocked to learn what he would have to do in order to get back. But at this point Kubicek's next to last paragraph is the more likely scenario.

Okay, the POV comp. is already over, that was earlier than usual. Jeff won the POV, no surprise. So now he takes himself off the block. Rachel is already sucking up to peeps to influence them not to vote for her. Who does Kalia put up to replace Jeff ? Only Porsche's name has been mentioned so far. We're going to have to wait until Monday afternoon to find out who will be the other nominee for Thursday's vote.

Re: BB 13week 5 day 7
Kalia and Dani are in the HOH room running through all the possible scenarios and combos of who goes up/voted on/booted on/ etc. now that they know that Jeff won POV. Dani is trying to keep Kalia's head on straight. It's all new to Kalia and she's still having a hard time standing up to the pressures of being HOH. Dani has been the POV and HOH winner enough times in S 8 and this season, that she knows what it takes.....she's wearing yet another pair if stylishly ripped jeans. That's the 3rd pair I've seen her wear, all ripped differently....

That would be a hell freezes over scenario. I would not like that at all.
Jordon telling Rachel that if she goes up she will campaign for Rachel to stay. Shocked
Says that she'll go so that Rachel can stick it to them. Has Jordon's brain turned to pickle juice?
Crazyhorse, if Jordan gets put up and begs to be voted out, she WON'T go to the jury house unless she beats Brendon, Dom or Cassi to come back in. The DR needs to tell her that.
no she wont put Jordan up she already said last night that she wont but i do wish Jeff would talk to her and get her to stop talking so crazy cuz they are safe this week....i think all this slop is making Jordan a little nuts but hopefully Jef can get her back on the right track now that he won

Now that J/J will for sure at least end up in the jury house together so that no matter what they are able to spend the whole summer together all i need else to happen to be oh so happy is for Jeff to do like Boston Rob did on survivor and propose to Jordan at the BB finale and then CBS to televise the wedding....now thats tv i wanna see! Very Happy
That would be fantastic! Golly! - What a smack in the eye that would be to B&R!!!
I want Cassie and Rachel to duel to get back in.
Rachel will see Cassie and think, is this a joke, ha, I'm back in...
Cassie will see Rachel and think, good I can show this bi ch...
Would be a good duel...
It was interesting that Dani wanted to talk to Adam before Kalia and Kalia asked her to wait... she wanted to speak to him first. I found both the request and the denial interesting.
No drama over it... just a little difference of game plan between 2 people who "trust each other 100%."
I'm also interested to see how/when that talk plays out. Cool
I see no problem on Porsche flipping on Rachel. She has tried to keep Rachel calm, Rachel has yelled at her several times. For a couple of days, Rachel would not even talk to her. Porsche told her that she was voting for Brendon to stay no matter what and then after the HOH, they were rude to her. Rachel got mad and jumped on Porsche for just talking with someone else in the house but Rachel.

Let the b***h fest begin...when Rachel realises what is happening when Shelli goes up, she will freak out. She may be dense, but I think she may see her alliance is not as strong as she thinks.
Though J/J would do well to vote for her (she would still leave because of Dani, Lewan, Adam and Porshe voting against her), as if the vote is 6 to 0 for her to go and she comes back J/J could also become targets for her.
This will go on until Monday. If I see anything really new and interesting you will be the first to know !

'Big Brother 13' Spoilers: Week 5 Power of Veto Results
Saturday, August 06, 2011
John Kubicek
Senior Writer, BuddyTV
In the first four weeks on Big Brother 13, Brendon won three Power of Veto competitions (one with Rachel) while Dominic got the other. In other words, this week, we're going to have a new veto winner.
SPOILER WARNING: This article contains Big Brother 13 spoilers.
Kalia nominated Jeff and Rachel. Jeff won the Power of Veto.
And Big Jeff fights back when his back is against the wall! He wasn't the actual target, which he never believed, but now he's probably going to save himself. The real confusion comes in figuring out who the replacement nominee will be.
Jordan is convinced it will be her, despite Kalia's constant claims that she made a deal early in the sason never to put her up. Maybe if Jordan doesn't go up, she'll finaly start to believe her.
It looks like Adam might be the best pawn. Even if Jeff and Jordan turn on him and vote to keep Rachel, they'd need two more votes. Lawon and Daniele are both squarely with Kalia and against Rachel, and Porsche and Shelly have been pushed to Kalia's side this week. It might be good, because if Jeff and Jordan actually try to keep Rachel safe, it would only serve to make the newbies, including Adam, turn against the veterans.
The PoV competition happened so early, so now we're stuck with a week where Rachel is going to mope and whine, then try to throw whoever is nominated against her under the bus. But unless something very weird happens, Rachel will be voted out and, on Thursday, she will compete with whoever America votes back in (Dominic or Brendon) to come back.
If it's Brendon, then this week is officially pointless because Rachel and Brendon are roughly the same player. But if Rachel goes and Dominic comes back into the game, you're going to see some very, very happy faces, and the rest of the season might just be incredibly fun to watch.
He may think that this week would be "officially pointless" if Brendon comes back but it would reintroduce the element of conflict that only exists when R & B are together. And of course there would be no "happy faces ".
