'Big Brother 14' Spoilers: Joe Picks a Side, Ashley and Ian Cry

Things got very, very heated in the Big Brother 14 house Tuesday night as lies were exposed, tears were shed and a decision was made about who's going home this week.
SPOILER WARNING: This article contains Big Brother 14 spoilers.
Frank won the Power of Veto, saved himself, and Jenn is the replacement nominee.
After a lot of hemming and hawing, Joe finally told Frank that he will NOT be voting to keep Boogie.
Ever since the Veto ceremony, Frank and Boogie have been working to get Joe's vote. They have Ashley in their back pocket and they assume they have Ian (they have no idea whatsoever that Ian is the one who betrayed them). They tried selling Joe on an alliance with them, primarily based on the fact that he will be fifth on the totem pole if he joins Dan, Danielle, Britney and Joe.
Joe's ultimate decision, however, is a good one. He might be fifth on the totem pole, but Joe thinks that, if he makes it to the final five, then Britney, Shane, Dan and Danielle could turn on each other and he could slide through. Joe explained to Frank and Frank and Boogie are a lot closer than anyone else in the house and there would be no way to come between them.
Joe also doesn't really trust Ashley or Ian, so why would he want to be in an alliance with them, Frank and Boogie? Joe was surprisingly well-reasoned in his honest upfront explanation to Frank about why this decision is best for his game.
Of course the drama of the night didn't end there. Jenn spent the majority of the night camped out in the HoH room with Shane, Dan, Danielle, Britney and Joe, with Joe telling her all about how Ashley was campaigning against her.
After Joe told Frank about his vote, Ashley came upstairs to talk to Jenn, resulting in Jenn telling her to "Suck it!" That, naturally, led to Ashley crying and Jenn quickly made up with her.
Also crying was Ian, who was upset about Boogie going home (it's basically the same emotional meltdown Britney had when she had to vote out Janelle). Of course Ian still seems loyal to the Quack Pack, but his tears only made Frank believe that Ian is with him even more strongly.
UPDATE: Wednesday morning the HGs were locked together in the HoH room (there may be a ball pit-related Pandora's Box twist) and Boogie took the time to address everyone, saying that he heard what happened and it's just a game, so he doesn't want it to get awkward or ugly or have people cry. That's right, Boogie took the high road.
'Big Brother 14' HoH Blog: Shane Compares Danielle to a Dog
Wednesday, August 22, 2012
It's the second reign of Shane on Big Brother 14 and once again he's making big moves. Shane nominated Frank and Boogie, destroying the Silent 6 for good. In this week's HoH blog, Shane talks about his allegiance to the Quack Pack, the promise of future drama and he compares his "showmance" partner Danielle to a dog.
Shane's blog starts out describing his rationale for targeting Frank and Boogie, ending with "GO QUACK PACK! GOODBYE SILENT 6!" Clearly he's invested in the QP alliance.
More importantly, Shane gave a shout-out to his dog, Dozer. "Dozer I miss you terribly but I am glad I got a picture of you. Dani has been your replacement while I have been gone. She's a good cuddler but not as good as you! ha-ha." Ouch. That's not going to help Danielle's self-esteem when she leaves the house, reading that she's a worse bedtime companion than a dog.
Finally, Shane applied for a job in the PR department of Big Brother with some insane hyperbole:
"The final show is less than a month away, so America be prepared for four weeks of intense game talking, up and down emotions, game changing twists, decision making flips, votes that will leave you stunned, and nominations that leave you on the edge of your seat. Its time for the craziest month in Big Brother history, stay tuned!!"
Exclamation Point Watch: 16 (tied with Frank from last week, but nowhere near Danielle's record-setting 29)

Jenn confronts Ashley and Joe doesn't tell Frank what he wants to hear
The drama has been stepped up in the Big Brother 14 house and on the Live Feeds since Shane made the bold move to put Frank and Boogie up for eviction.
Since then, of course, Frank has won the Power of Veto and Shane was forced to renominated Jenn, forcing her to finally play the game. And since then, she’s been spending her days trying to make sense of why she was nominated and basically learn how this game works for the first time. When the Live Feeds aren’t on Jenn figuring out Big Brother, they’re on Joe being the “swing vote.” The anti-Boogie side expects Joe to go with them on the vote and Boogie and Frank have been working Joe for his vote non-stop.
Jenn has had it out with Shane, Danielle and Dan and Tuesday night (Wednesday morning) at 1:30 AM BBT, she laid into Ashley after she learned Ashley planned to keep Boogie over her. (Oh, and let me just say, welcome to the game, Jenn).
Elsewhere, Joe finally tells Frank at 11:42 PM BBT (Tuesday night) that he does not plan on voting for Boogie to stay and Frank is not happy.
On Wednesday morning, the HouseGuests were all on lockdown on the HoH room, so at 10:50 AM BBT, Boogie assembled a house meeting to let everyone know he’s OK with going home and that he’d appreciate it if everyone spent the next couple of days not fighting and making other people cry. It was Boogie’s final move to show everyone how soft he’s become, hoping to secure an extra vote or two.
Of course Boogie might not need the extra votes if Pandora’s Box happens, which is what the HGs expect was the reason for their morning HoH room lockdown. But they’re always paranoid. And by they, I mean Britney.
