I didn't know there was such a thing but on GMA this morning they showed a clip of Aubrey Plaza taking Will Ferrel by surprise. Since she is one of my favorite actresses, brings quirky to new levels, I saw his entire 6:00 video here. She comes up at 1:50.

That golden popcorn sure looked appetizing to Aubrey Plaza.

The Parks and Recreation star brought the whole Kanye West and Taylor Swift controversy to mind tonight at the 2013 MTV Movie Awards, when she crashed the stage during Will Ferrell 's acceptance speech for winning the Comedic Genius Award.

She didn't try to get a few words in though, all she wanted was the popcorn.


After realizing that her attempt had failed, Plaza put her head down and walked back to her seat in the front row, spilled her drink, and just sat there.

Of course, Will Ferrell didn't want to make the situation even more awkward than it already was, so he tried to play it off.

"Aubrey Plaza, everyone," Ferrell said. "Just like we rehearsed it. Perfect, it was perfect. Not too long, not too short. Right on the money."

But even though Ferrell seemed cool with the whole thing, MTV producers weren't, and E! News confirmed that they asked the actress to leave the show after her little stunt.
