Re: Emmy nominations
The first hour wasn't too good, for me, with all those awards for different comedy shows/actors/writers/ etc. I had never heard of 90% of them and never had seen their shows. During the second hour I watched Breaking Bad but clicked over during the commercials and caught the tail end of Anna Gunn's acceptance. I felt a lot better then. The cable reception on CBS during the second hour was bad, breaking up, 'pixalating', audio going out every 15 -20 seconds. It would have been unwatchable if I was watching continuously. I don't know if it was just the CBS feed or some other problem but none of the other channels were affected.
Then after BB was over I watched the remainder and the problem had been cleared up. Most of the awards met my approval except for best actor in a drama, the guy on Newsroom. That was ridiculous to compare his performance to Cranston's but since Bryan had won an Emmy three times maybe they thought it should go to someone else. Then when Modern Family won for best comedy and BB won for best drama that ended it on a great note.
