Post-Breaking Bad news
My next door neighbor on the south is the obituary "writer" for the Journal. She said that almost all obituaries are emailed to her, and she only has to edit them rather than write them from scratch. She didn't have anything to do with this one...

Walter White likes pancakes!!!

Does this mean we all need to head to Boston to sit at the Walter White table and scarf down fruity waffles?

Re: Post-Breaking Bad news
We should be able to find "fruity waffles" without going that far.
Meanwhile, after this obit appeared in the Oct. 4th edition of the Journal the circulation dept. said they got 60 times the normal requests for a specific edition. They came from all over the country. Most wanted multiple copies. The last time I looked it was going for $26 on eBay. Luckily I held onto my copy. Also, some props are being auctioned on eBay. The bell that the guy in the wheelchair rang was over $16000, the gas masks are going for over $3000.

Watch 180 more minutes in 6 minute increments, and pay for the 'privilege' ? I don't think so.....

Re: Post-Breaking Bad news
Anthony Hopkins is one of those actors that I adore. So it is so thrilling to know that he has the same reaction to seeing something that is extraordinary. And to think, I would have missed out on the whole experience except for your "Breaking Bad" tour of Albuquerque, Bman.

Re: Post-Breaking Bad news
You are welcome !
"The fiesta offered a lot more than balloons, with pin trading a popular activity. Even Walter White, the lead character of Albuquerque’s “Breaking Bad” has his own pin, as do many pilots and others involved in the fiesta. There was also zip-lining, a wide range of foods to buy, an arts and crafts tent, a small museum intended for children to learn more about the fiesta, and a swanky VIP area it cost $60 to hang out in during the week, and upwards of $100 on the more crowded weekends."

At the balloon fiesta people stood in a long line to buy the Ballooning Bad/Walter White pin. They sold out, 1,000 in 15 minutes. Now the company is being swamped with online orders so they are ramping up production and more should be available by next month.

They must have dyed the bear or found a pink one because the one that fell in the pool was the normal tan/white.Berry wrote:Nostalgia trips already....Walter White, pretty in pink

Re: Post-Breaking Bad news
Hmmm...didn't take long for them to do that... Most of it was forgetting their lines and sometimes trying to ad-lib their way out of it, but Anna Gunn's Katherine Hepburn imitation was great ....
