Stargate Reboot

I'm delighted and very curious. It's in the very early stages...

I am more interested but concerned. It was perfect originally so the chances of them making it better are not great. But I admit that the new Star Trek movies are a refreshing reboot so I will withhold judging this. But I'm still going to watch the original to get my fix of a young James Spader!   

I didn't like Kurt Russell as Jack, at all! I liked the original SG movie but LOVED the StarGate SG1 series. That will be hard to remake the chemistry of the characters!

Makes you wonder how supportive Roswell fans would be to a reboot of that if it didn't have the original actors.   

The hard core Roswell fans would probably be no more than mildly interested if only to see how it was screwed up.   

They couldn't get the original TV Stargate cast back no doubt. "Jack" hasn't been doing much lately and Amanda Tapping is a director and producer in Canada, and the others have moved on, and did Teryl Rothery die ?  Have to check that..... no she didn't...whew ! where did I get that idea ?
