She would be my pick for the female lead, but if The Mick has more seasons she might not be available.  she is 27 but plays teenagers very convincingly. But could be 'matured'  for a Magnum role.

Hernandez is 40 but that age difference is no big deal on TV or the movies where sometimes the male lead is old enough to be the father of the female lead.

I watched the first episode. It was ok but a few way over the top moments. The new Magnum doesn't wear a Hawaiian shirt or have a mustache. He is certainly missing the charm of Tom Selleck. Higgins is a female ex-MI6 agent. We'll see if it gets any better moving forward.

I missed it because I wanted to see the premire of DWTS but may catch it later.

it was just okay. I don't know what feels flat about it because the scenery is gorgeous and the cars are flashy. But I don't feel any chemistry among the cast. Maybe I should give it a few more episodes but my tivo is pretty full already.

It's not too high on my list. My taste for that type of show in general is fulfilled by NCIS and Blue Bloods which are both more realistic and engaging.

It's gotten a bit better in later episodes. Not the same as the old Magnum but still entertaining enough.

Haven't watched it. Might take a look at the later eps.
