Florida sounds great to me! Especially if we rented a beach cottage!

Been away for a while. Between grandkids, my dad and the home .... I'm glad I'm retired. Wouldn't have enough time if I were working

I like the Idea of going to Florida. I have been to Orlando and Miami Airport, but I know there is more to the state than this.

Berry, you posted a list of things we could do If we came to Florida as suggestion for one of our prior conventions.

So, I am pretty darn flexible as to when to do this. May, June, July would be perfect (only because Ben has season tickets to the Jaguars games and Sept-Dec its really tricky to get him to leave the area. ) But does anyone else have any preferences or times that don't work for them?

The chances of me being able to make a FL convention are so slight that I won't make any suggestions that might have any influence....but best wishes for a good one !

Trip advisor lists the best beaches (in the world) . Quite a few of them in Florida. I prefer the St. Augustine area as one that is convenient not only to St. Augustine but also not that far from Orlando, Cape Canavaral activities, Daytona and Jacksonville. Still there are other beaches listed and with them the local hotels, B&B's and vacation rentals if we all want to go in on one place. Discuss, if interested.

Berry , thank you for getting the ball rolling. I apologize for being late. I wish I could add Craig and myself to the list but for reasons posted on the tree house, it won't be possible this year.

Make all the arrangements and get every thing ready. If you think any of the Facebook crowd would be interested( I'm thinking of Lisa and family but anyone you'd want to invite. ) I'm sad I can't go. So hope there will be tons of pictures and everyone would have a wonderful time

To be honest, the board has changed. I don't think there is really enough interest in putting anything together just now. Which is fine.

But If I hear from all the people who said they would be interested in going when is their preferred month, then we can pick a date and then we can talk about accommodations. I'd be happy to be wrong...but we need a group that talks regularly (at least till a plan is in place) to make something like this a "go" .

Hey there everyone.... I am happy to do whatever the group decides just to see you all again..... If distance is a problem ........ I would be willing to do New Mexico again or maybe Texas Riverwalk.......JUST to see everyone. Being in accounting, I can really only go the third or forth week in a month and I would need to do a long weekend rather than a week. I hope we can work something out.... It wouldn't be the same without the entire group. 😂

Surprise! Sorry I have been away so long! I do think of you often and have good intentions of getting on line! My life has totally turned upside down in the last month! More on that later!

I am interested in Florida. Now that I no longer have elderly cats to look after, I have been traveling about.
I went to the east coast, New Mexico, Germany, Seattle, San Francisco and Ontario CA.

Up coming trips in July 2016 are to Oshkosh and maybe Ottawa. I would love to add Florida to my list of must see destinations.
I will post my dates for these July trips by Sunday, so we can start planning.

I will out of town in July 24-31. However if we are going to travel in June, I will need to put in for days off right away. I will only be able travel for a long weekend like Jojo, but I am up for going to Florida.

September in Florida is good by me, too. In the interest of getting this show on the road, will anyone who is firmly committed to a 2016 get together vote, yes or no . Also, I can recommend hotels or get us a group house, so please express a preference
