Ah, seems like we have a lot to catch up on. In time, I hope it will work out for the best.

I'm just glad it's still on. If there is any ghost of a chance we could make it, I'd drive it even if we only had one day together. It's remote but I can hope. Details will be on the tree house soon.

Have you heard from Space Pilot, Larry & wife, Jojo & husband?

I really need to book a flight soon so I can get a decent price.

Jojo seemed pretty flexible although she can only make a "long weekend" but said she was looking forward to coming to see all the people and was willing to change location if that helped.
Larry and wife haven't really responded.
Space Pilot seemed interested but hasn't responded to the specifics of a mid-Sept date.

You have actually shown the most interest for right now. But I can't say I'm willing to put down money on a place unless I actually hear from the people who have expressed some interest on this thread about dates that would work for them. (and of course, whether they want to make their own hotel arrangements or want in on a group house.

I'd say that if I haven't gotten a response by the end of July, we should shelve the idea for this year and wait for a place or time when a larger group can be assembled.

Berry, don't base any plans on the possibility that I might make it. It's a slippery slope at best. I won't know until the last minute so if St. Augustine is better and easier on you then do it.

I messaged Jojo on Facebook. She was having problems finding Blu.  I sent her a link. Maybe we'll hear from her soon.

I sent pm's to Larry, SP, and Jojo last night.  Jojo replied on the  other thread.

Honestly, I think a get together should be shelved for some future time. Maybe, Florida isn't that convenient. People seem to like the Balloon Festival. I'd be up for that in 2017.

I admit that I'm saddened there won't be a convention this year. I do hope 2017 will be more hopeful that we can meet up and see each other.
