Dark Matter

Premieres tonight on Syfy. An intergalactic adventure that looks like it will be good.

This looks promising. It has sort of a "Firefly" vibe to it, human settlements, here and there, no aliens, so far. It's interesting that Zoie Palmer plays the android, possibly the most interesting character. She's a popular Canadian actress, and plays Lauren the Dr. on Lost Girl.

Unfortunately, the first episode looks just like a horror movie that James Marsters made called "Shadow Puppets" so I was mostly laughing thru the who are you? I dunno who are you? parts. I think this could grow on me. And I sure hope your thought that it could be like Firefly will come to be.

It probably won't come to be very much like Firefly, but as soon as they get over "the who am I/you" business it should improve.
