It looks like they have some pretty good contestants this season. There could have been some crossover between the tribes, given their titles and appearances. It will be interesting to see how "Beast Mode Cowboy" from Big Brother will do out there. Will he become enamoured with one of the female contestants to his detriment as he did on Big Brother ?....

Re: Survivor season 32
http://www.buddytv.com/articles/survivor/why-the-casting-of-survivor-ka-58926.aspx
He's right about that..there's no practical way to assign the selected casting into those three 'categories' and have an extreme and obvious differentiation. The only way to do that would be to cast super models, Olympians, and NASA scientists into each category, and you can guess how likely that would be possible. So they have to work with those who applied and are willing to take the punishment.
To say that Darnell and Alecia were 'Brawn' was ridiculous. And when that tribe lost the first immunity challenge, partly because of Darnell's incompetence with the face mask, and Alecia contributing nothing to the 'brawn' requirements in pushing the boat (it was one of the most brutal challenges of any season) , that insured that they would be the two for booting consideration and the "honor" went to Darnell. To be the first booted on any Survivor season is probably the worst cultural humiliation that anyone can suffer.
The next time that "Brawn loses an immunity challenge Alecia will be next to go..
Meanwhile. over at the "Brains" tribe, who did win the immunity challenge, we have Debbie the chemist who "moonlights as a server at Red Lobster" this seasons lunatic sociopath. There is always at least one. Already her tribe mates see that she'll have to go first when they lose an immunity challenge.
Aside from all that, they are a little light in the 'bikini babe' casting this season. Certainly not a reason to not watch but still....

Well heck. The Brain tribe didn't lose the immunity challenge this week meaning that they didn't get the chance to vote Debbie off so we'll have to put up with her for another week or until they lose another immunity challenge.
Meanwhile, in a surprising move Jennifer gets voted off the losing (again) Brawn tribe rather than the expected Alecia. Now that they are down to 4 members, they will be at a disadvantage in future immunity challenges, although the 3 remaining men are all 'hulk' types who should have done better in the early, highly physical challenges. Alecia was always a total non-factor in those challenges and always will be in the future. But later in the season the challenges become less physical and more mental as hunger, dehydration, and general exhaustion take their toll. Alecia may prove more effective in those challenges....

Wow ! That was a brutal one ! Surprising that Caleb was the one to have to be evacuated and not returning. He was "Beast Mode Cowboy" on Big Brother and has always been seen as one of the most physically fit contestants.

Re: Survivor season 32
Last night's ep was about the most calculatingly cold , brutal, and back stabbing blind side that we've seen in years. But that's Survivor for you. They are coming down to the final days, anything goes to survive, and only the 'fittest' do as Darwin told us.
Tribal Council
Jeff talks about the big idol display that went on between the three guys at the last Tribal. And they continue to insist that it won't be one of the three of them going home tonight. Aubry says dealing with them is like running into a wall.
Cydney says she's nervous tonight because the boys remain salty about her jumping from their alliance. Scot says that they've always been open about their plans, and it's probably a good idea for one of them to get on the right side of things while they still can.
Aubry talks about the gallant fight she put up at the challenge today to prove that she's more than just a Brain. She says each of the three categories only begin to scratch the surface of who each of these people really are.
Tai stays quiet for a lot of Tribal. He does say he's not into boasting and being arrogant like the other guys, but he knows this is war.
To the Vote!
Before the votes are read, Julia gets aggressive telling Tai to play his idol. Scot is equally aggressive telling him not to play his idol.
The votes come out and there are two for Tai, two for Aubry and four for Scot.
Scot looks at Tai for the idol so they can play the super idol. He looks at Tai some more. Tai looks at Jason. Jason looks at Tai. Finally Tai looks back at Scot and shakes his head and says, "No."
Scot's only response is, "Wow." His torch is snuffed with Jason's hidden idol in his pocket.
So Tai comes through! And he still has an idol, an advantage, and he's separated himself from the villains! Aubry stays! Scot goes! The axis of evil is finally broken! And the peasants rejoice!
Next episode: Jason makes Tai the new target of his vengeance. I guess we all saw that one coming.
Survivor airs on Wednesdays at 8pm on CBS.

I don't know how he concludes that Aubry is the fan favorite. I'd much rather see Michele win and haven't seen any buzz about Aubry except from this guy.

I don't agree that Michele will be booted next, especially if she can win an immunity challenge. If she makes it to the Final Three then she has a good chance of winning. I think Joe will be the next bootee....

Re: Survivor season 32
I was right about Joe going next but didn't expect it would be for medical reason. This has been the most brutal season in history. Three people having to be medically booted. First for "Beast mode Cowboy" collapsing after an immunity challenge and not recovering adequately, then Neal taken out by an infected boil/insect bite, and now Joe going out with constipation, prostate/urinary problems. With him leaving there was no reason to have an elimination vote so we are down to the Final Four and one more will be booted on next Wednesday's two hour finale. Then the final three will go to LA for the live voting show and the jury will pick the winner. I hope that Audra is booted on the Final Four and Michele, Tai, and Cydney go to the Final Three, and Michele wins....
But wait ! There will be a Final Two this time ! So two will be booted on the island and the jury will only have two to vote on , on the live show.

Re: Survivor season 32
So Michele came through for the win ! I was happy to see that. Of the final 3 Audry got 2 votes and Tai didn't get any, but he was very popular with the viewers and they/me liked that he kept Mark the chicken alive through the whole season. Normally when chickens are given to the tribes it's not to become pets.
And that so impressed Sia the singer that always keeps her face covered, that she came on stage at the live voting ceremony in L.A. , unscripted, Jeff wasn't quite sure what was going on when she walked on stage, and she gave Tai $50 K for himself, and $50 K for him to donate to the animal welfare org. of his choice. Nothing remotely like that has ever happened on Survivor.

In season 33 they will be going back to Fiji, a very nice venue and the theme is Millennials vs Gen X.
