I'm watching this with Sling TV rather than keeping up with each week's ep as they are shown 'live'.
The lady with the two swords does do a 'good job' on her enemies !
One thing is odd. Civilization has survived to the point where they have cars, trucks, motorcycles, electric lights, refineries, etc. , but no guns. I guess that with all the kung fu/swords/ blood spewing/etc. it makes the fights more spectacular than having someone just pull out an AK and spew lead in all directions.

Re: Into the Badlands season 2
While I'm not a big fan of watching a bunch of fake Kung Fu fighting scenes in any production, this one adds in enough S-F factors in the future society to keep it interesting as Sonny travels outside the "Baron" areas and sees the remains of civilization.

'Into the Badlands' Renewed for Supersized Season 3 at AMC
The martial arts drama will return in 2018.
AMC continues to grow with Into the Badlands.
The hyper-stylized martial arts drama has been renewed for a third season, the cable network announced Tuesday.
Season three will consist of 16 episodes — up from six in season one and 10 in the current sophomore run. The series starring Daniel Wu will return in 2018. The pickup marks a swift renewal for the drama that first launched in 2015 and saw its second run delayed until this year.
Halfway through its second r un, Badlands has been averaging 3.6 million total viewers including 2.1 among adults 25-54 when factoring in three days of delayed viewing. All told, the series from creators Al Gough and Miles Millar ranks as the No. 4 scripted drama on cable as well as the fourth-ranked returning drama, behind only The Walking Dead, American Horror Story and Fear the Walking Dead.
“Into the Badlands looks like nothing else on television, a literal high-wire act attracting passionate and dedicated fans by the millions,” AMC president Charlie Collier said. “Thanks to series creators and showrunners Al Gough and Miles Millar, the terrific cast, led by Daniel Wu, the amazing martial arts team guided by the incomparable Master Dee Dee and fight directors Stephen Fung and Andy Cheng, and everyone else involved who brings this thrill ride to the fans.”
The drama is produced in-house by AMC Studios and has helped AMC collect four of the top five scripted dramas on cable, with Better Call Saul joining Badlands and both Walking Dead series.
"We are excited and grateful to continue our journey into the Badlands with Charlie, Joel, Susie and all of our friends at AMC,” Gough and Millar said in a joint statement. “We also want to give a big clipper salute to our Irish and Chinese partners! The thought of doing an expanded 16-episode season is both thrilling and exhausting!!”
Badlands joins a 2018 scripted roster at AMC that also includes both Walking Dead series and Humans. The cabler's slate also includes The Terror, The Son, Preacher and Better Call Saul
