Re: Blade Runner 2049
One thing for sure...this will never equal the reputation of the first one and is in fact so muddled and confusing that I don't even know where to start....so I won't, other than to say that some of the sets and CGI scenes are impressive. If only the story line was 1/100th as good.

I'll wait and watch it from the comfort of my home sometime in the future. Let me know if Flatliners is any good.

I want to see Blade Runners...not too sure about Flatliners....saw the original and wasn't impressed except with how stupid they think that we will believe medical students are.

Re: Blade Runner 2049
BR 2049 will show up on cable, no doubt. I still intend to see Flatliners. But tomorrow I "have" to take Jen to see Geostorm, not my pick, but she likes disaster movies involving "natural" occurences, such as San Andreas and Geostorm is right up her alley.

Oh, this is not news one ever wants to get. However there is something to be said for having a problem that can be corrected . Sending thoughts, prayers, and healing vibes that all the news you get from now on will be good news.

Re: Blade Runner 2049
Banjo,
Craig and I pray that you have this done as soon as you can and you be able to get back on your feet as soon as possible. Just do what the doctor says and know that we are all thinking of you and can't wait for your return. But of course we will so you take all the time you need.

Re: Blade Runner 2049
I'm glad you get to avoid surgery. Taking the meds are not so bad once you get used to remembering to do it. Which reminds me....off to take my night time meds.

Re: Blade Runner 2049
My mom was on it and it seemed to work for her. She had afib so it was prescribed for that because that can cause the clots. Plus you don't need to have the monthly blood tests although you need to be more careful about working with sharp objects, etc. Plus, need some form of ID on you that states you are on it in case of accident so they can treat the thinned blood. Probably not news to you :).

Glad you're doing ok. Seems the movie needs to come with a warning if it cause medical emergencies. Rest up and take care.
