This is scheduled for only 2 seasons but if it's popular enough that may change.

The premire was pretty good. Looks like it will have some worthwhile plot lines. My only question is if putting it 10 years after the initial apocalypse is far enough in the future. In the original TWD they are already 5 years in, and civilization is very primitive. 5 more years wouldn't seem to make as big a difference/improvement as seen in The World Beyond...

Re: The World Beyond
After the second ep I'm getting a little annoyed with the basic premise showing the 5 kids on their trek to see "the world beyond" because they show constant bad decisions, incompetence and general attitudes that would get them "eaten" quickly in that world given what we know from watching The Walking Dead and Fear The Walking Dead. They call the Walkers,"Empties", and constantly put themselves in peril because of their reluctance to stab, shoot, smash, etc. the Empties in the head/brain, as if there is some moral standard to observe.
Good grief !, everyone knows that you always stab, shoot, smash, etc. them at any and every opportunity. Maybe they will 'straighten up' and 'learn the ropes' in later eps but meanwhile I'm recording the eps to keep until I'm 'in the mood' to watch. Also recording the new season of Fear The Walking Dead which comes on just prior....

Re: The World Beyond
It's come to the point that I spend a lot more time watching shows on Netflik, Hulu, and You Tube. The shows on network TV that I normally watch are all in reruns.
