 The time zone differences create opportunities for 'advanced viewing' , in a sense.  It shows at 8 pm EDT which is 6 pm MDT here. But it doesn't actually show here until 7 pm MDT. That means that by finding online links that enable me to watch at 6 pm MDT here, I already know what happened when it shows at 7 pm MDT here. Why is this important ? Sometimes it just feels good to know things before anyone else in the state and with that knowledge and $5 I can buy some sort of coffee at Starbucks, I think, never having been in one....

That was a good ep 1.  They have done an above average job of casting this season. Interesting group, no sociopaths visible, yet. They are using better mechanical and digital props and the comps right away was more interesting than having them mill around the kitchen. Frenchie, the Tennessee farmer looks pretty powerful in comps. I would like to see Alyssa go far but the 'pretty girls' often get attacked early on and are targets for showmances which work out only rarely.

She didn't do very well in trying to  win  the first HOH so now what ?   Being a Have-Not right off the bat can be advantages in that it's less likely to become one later on when strategy and comps are more important and it's better to have  no distractions such as cold showers and eating only BB Slop for a whole week.

The 'Wild Card" is something new this season so don't know exactly how that works. And with the live feeds being down for 5 hours it makes it problematic to consider signing up for the live feeds, not to mention that I don't have as much free time to sit in front of the computer,  given the fiddle lessons.

One of those comps that won't make any significant difference in the game, and will disappear in a few weeks. Not the first time such comps have been tried...

I decided to sign up for the live feeds for the 3 months, but couldn't because it said that both my emails were already taken which implies that I'm still registered from last season which was through CBS not this new Paramount + , but when I tried to sign in with my old p/w it didn't recognize it and when I changed it still no luck so I said to heck with it.

Just because Derek says that Kyland is the target for eviction and not Alyssa, doesn't mean it's true, given how this season is starting...

What a crazy ride this week has been with Frenchie setting and shifting his targets near hourly and then being thwarted by comps rewarding safety to his targets. Things stayed fluid up to the end here leading into the meeting as once again no one was really sure what Frenchie would do. Enough waiting though.
Power of Veto Ceremony Spoilers – Week 1

   Alyssa & Travis are this week’s final noms

Frenchie’s power has ended though his reign of terror continues. Watch for him to continue to apply pressure for his desired (and likely shifting) priorities. I imagine he’ll have more restless nights and pacing days leading up to the first eviction this Thursday night.

Well, wouldn't you know it.... Derek X says Kyland is the target but then he saves him and Alyssa is still on the block. What a bunch of ninnys.

Then tomorrow is the first eviction. There are enough short videos on You Tube showing various goings-on in the house that it makes it redundant to have live feeds, also the several daily recap videos from fans, "Cliff" being the most famous.
