Doctor Sleep....The Shining sequel

I don't recall any specific supernatural elements in the original. Jack Nicholson was just a psycho, but there seems to be such elements in the sequel.

Psycho yes, however there were several supernatural elements as well. Including the ghosts that haunted the hotel, Danny's visions/episodes, the hotel built on the Indian burial grounds, the ghosts for lack of a better word that perpetuated the white patriarchy over minorities and women and so on.

I forgot about the burial grounds, also those twin girls, or were they part of Danny's visions ? I might have to watch it again before the new one. The hotel that was used is a real one, up off the road leading into Rocky Mt. Nat'l Park. NW of Boulder, CO.
