Big Brother #2
It's getting tricky now. Last night after Rachel was booted, she walked out after hugging Brendon and not saying a word to the other house guests, The HOH competition was held which Brendon won. This would normally bode poorly for the rest of them because he had vowed revenge for Rachel being booted. However there are many possibilities and ramifications, which we will now explore.
First, and less crucial to the overall strategy, the winner of HOH was given the power to name 3 "have - not's" for the coming week. He picked Britney, Matt, and Hayden. We all know what that entails, but the diet for the have-nots is voted on by the viewers and I haven't heard which of the 3 menu choices they picked.....anyway the really important stuff is this:
As HOH Brenden must pick 2 people to go on the block for booting. Common knowledge says that he will pick from three people, Britney, Matt, and Ragan. Of those, most agree that Britney will be a definite pick. Between Matt and Ragan is less certain. Let's examine the possibilities... .
If Brenden knew that Ragan was the saboteur (he doesn't, no house guest knows) then it is likely that he would pick him. But therefore we must examine the combinations in an unprejudiced way: BTW, if Ragan makes it through next week without being discovered or booted, he wins $20 K for being the sabotuer and it doesn't affect his chance of going all the way and winning the $500 k.
1. If it's Britney and Ragan on the block it is probably the hardest combo to call. I would predict that they would vote out Ragan, but it's pretty hard to tell this far out.
2. If it's Britney and Matt on the block then it's easy to predict that Matt would use his diamond POV and remove himself from the block. Normally if the POV holder removes anyone the HOH must name a replacement. But Matt's diamond POV gives him the power to name his own replacement, or let the HOH do it, then override the HOH's choice with his own choice if he chooses to.. This is an unprecedented situation so it's really hard to call. We'll have to wait until we see who wins the POV competition tomorrow ( revealed on BB After Dark tomorrow night but not shown on CBS until Wednesday) and see how the POV winner's choice to remove the boot candidates (not shown until Wednesday) agrees with Matt's choice.
3. One sure thing that we can predict, if Matt is on the block he will remove himself and put Brenden in his place. If that happens Brenden will surely be booted next Thursday.
The moment that Rachel hears she has been booted....I rewatched the show on the computer so I could get these pics.....just for you !
Rachel will now go to the jury house, a separate location. She will be alone there until the next person is booted. Eventually 7 people will be in the jury house and will vote for the winner between the final two....similar to Survivor. Therefore it is a strategic consideration to not PO anyone on the jury so that they would vote against you in the final. For example, it is easy to predict that if Britney were in the final two Rachel would vote against her winning regardless of who the other finalist was....
She hugs her "beloved"...
Then walks out without another word.
The "have-nots" menu for the week. They are already staying in their hovel of a room, I didn't take any pics of that...
Early in the HOH competition. It was brutal. The two women, Britney and Kathy were at a disadvantage compared to some of the less physical HOH competitions in past weeks.

Re: Big Brother #2
Hmm....I just discovered something. If you post a pic here from Photobucket then delete the pics at Photobucket they are deleted here too. I had thought that they were stored here or something......so let that be a lesson....
But why I came here now, was to note that yesterday Matt ( I assume it was Matt) opened another Pandora's Box. This time the "reward" was to allow Rachel to come back to the house for 24 hours. So she was there last night during BB After Dark on Showtime. I was baffled and alarmed until I heard what was going on. This will "happen" during tonight's show in addition to the nomination ceremony. But....they also took Brendon out of the house and sequestered him somewhere for those 24 hours because the producers didn't want him to "reunite" with Rachel. On tonight's show she will be gone back to the jury house and he will return to continue the game.
As far as I can tell, the veto competition (POV) has been postponed from its normal Saturday sched. because of Rachel's return. But since that competition isn't shown until Wed.'s show they'll have plenty of time to hold it on Mon. or Tues.
Last night on BB After Dark they were hashing out the various possibilities of who goes on the block, what would happen with various POV winners, both this week and later weeks, etc. It gets quite convoluted but since Matt still has the Diamond POV good until Wednesday, and he is a member of the 4 man Brigade (still undetected) what would happen if someone else wins the regular POV, either a brigade member or not, then two brigade members are put up for eviction on Wed. what does Matt do ? As I said earlier if he is one of them on the block he'll use the Diamond POV on himself to get off. But if he's not on the block and the regular POV winner does a selection he doesn't like, or waives the POV power entirely (which happens often) then what does he do? If he overrides the regular POV he will either endear himself or alienate himself to whoever is affected. This is getting interesting.....

Re: Big Brother #2
A little research revealed that they did hold the POV competition on Friday, it will be shown on Wed., and Ragan won. This introduces some interesting factors.
With Ragan and Lane on the block, he will use his POV to take himself off, for sure, but with Matt holding the diamond POV and Lane being a member of the Brigade, will Matt take steps to override Ragan taking himself off and putting Ragan back on then taking Lane off the block. (it's not clear if the diamond POV gives Matt this much power). Anyway, the veto meeting will take place today or tonight, so we'll know well before Wed. what happens.
Aside from the uncertainty over the extent of the power of the diamond POV (I'll try to find out the truth, it's probably out there in the blogs and fan sites and "official" CBS sites), what will probably happen is this:
Ragan takes himself off the block. The HOH, Brendon, has the power to pick his replacement. He will do so. Most agree that Britney will be the one he picks. Matt likes Britney (being married he is not publicly besotted with her to the extent that Lane is) but now he must decide to use his diamond POV to either protect his Brigade mate, Lane, by removing him and picking his replacement or doing the same with Britney. I predict the former. Then who gets voted off on Thursday will depend on the final two on the block.
All in all, the producers decision to bring Rachel back for 24 hours ( not seen until Wed.) seems to be irrelevant. Brendon did question other house guests as to what she said to them, since he was not allowed to see her, but nothing developed from that.
There is another competition scheduled for today that doesn't seem to have a name, but not related to POV and it's not yet clear what they will be competing for, whether just prizes or some sort of "power" to enhance their survival. Given the convolutions already introduced by the diamond POV and the saboteur I would guess that today's comp. will just be for prizes/money......we'll see...
Here's one theory at a spoiler site:
.
What do you think
of the PoV Comp results? Who should go up after Ragan uses the power
to save his butt? Ragan is hoping it’ll be Kathy, but based on
Brendon’s original plan to split up the Lane/Britney and Ragan/Matt
“alliances” it’ll likely be Matt to replace Ragan and the Diamond Power of Veto will come in to play

Re: Big Brother #2
As of 1 pm MDT here's how it stands;
Ragan, the winner of this week’s PoV, obviously used the Veto. Brendon named Matt as his replacement nomination. The Diamond Power of Veto will definitely be used by Matt and we’re expecting it on Thursday’s live show.
If Matt discover the Brigade’s betrayal before then will he use it to
renom one of his former alliance members? Anything is possible, but
don’t miss a minute of it!
What do you think?
Which of these two will be evicted on Thursday’s live show: Matt or
Lane? Now a different question: Who should Matt renom with the DPOV

Big Brother 12 Week 7: What Lies Ahead
By: Matt (BBN) | Tagged: Big Brother, Big Brother 12
The Diamond Power of Veto has been played. The great chain
of Matt and Brenchel HoHs has been broken. Now, the only thing left to
do is eliminate Brendon and push on toward the Big Brother 12 finale.
Here’s how this week will play out.
Matt took another big gamble by throwing the HoH comp last night but the risk paid off when his more reliable ally, Britney, won the power
over Enzo. Britney’s disdain for Brendon has only been thinly veiled to
the man himself and despite her deal with him last week (everybody
had a deal with Brendon last week) I don’t expect any obstacles in his
nomination tonight. That leaves one other vacancy on the block.
Britney won’t nominate Matt nor is Ragan in any danger after this trio shared
in the Fellowship of the Have-Nots last week. This leaves her the
options of Lane, Enzo, and Hayden. There’s zero chance she’ll nominate
Lane, so take him off the list. Enzo or Hayden will inevitably take the
place of the pawn and that’s alright by me. Those boys need to break a
sweat again in this game.
Unless Brendon wins the Veto on Saturday he’ll be going home. Should
he pull out another Veto victory then look for the un-nominated half of
Enzo and Hayden to take his place. The choice between evicting either
of those two would be tough. Enzo is the new Kathy with his weak
performance record in comps, but he’ll stab you in the back quicker than
anyone left there. Hayden is the better phyiscal comp competitor and
at least a tiny bit more trustworthy. If I were in there I’d say goodbye
to Enzo, sorrykitty cat, I mean Meow-Meow.
I’m hoping it won’t come to that though and Brendon will be reunited with Rachel far far away from the rest of the season. Ahh, love truly does conquer all.
No matter what happens this week there will be an exicting Double Eviction night next Thursday. We’ll have the live eviction vote, an HoH comp, a Power of Veto comp, the Veto Ceremony, another live eviction,
and then move on to a second HoH comp for the night. Phew! I’m
expecting we’ll have an endurance comp on that second HoH round and
unless Matt gets knocked out or becomes the shortest-lived HoH in round 1
he’ll have to fight to hold on to his winning endurance comp record.
It’s gonna be awesome! Are you ready?

Re: Big Brother #2
Okay, it's no surprise that Britney nominated Brendon. Enzo also seems a logical choice. However, if Brendon doesn't win POV this afternoon, then he will definitelybe booted next Thursday. Won't know who wins POV until later today.....will be back with results.
Big Brother 12: Week 7 Nominations Revealed – Spoilers
By: Matt (BBN) | Tagged: Big Brother, Big Brother 12, HoH, nominations, spoilers
Last night on Big Brother 12 we saw power
shift over to the last woman standing, Britney. Considering Brendon’s
isolation in the house there were really no good options for him no
matter who won, so tonight’s nomination results should come as no
surprise. However, the pairing is what makes this interesting.
Read on to find out just who are Britney’s targets for next Thursday night.

Enzo and Brendon are commiserating together in the Have-Not room.
Yeah, Enzo and Brendon are not only nominated this week but both are
also Have-Nots along with Hayden. They’ll be eating beans and broccoli after today’s Food Comp.
Britney comes in and tells Enzo (alone) that he will not go home and that if Brendon wins the Veto that she’ll backdoor Matt, but that could be a lie.

Re: Big Brother #2
I could tell from BB After Dark last night that a lot had happened in the POV comp., but never heard who won the POV. Wed.'s show will show all the crazy stuff that happened. Now that it's Brendon who won POV, he won't be booted on Thursday at least in round one. But since that's a double elimination night it's hard to predict what will happen in round two.
Big Brother 12: Week 7 Saturday Live Feed Highlights
By: Matt (BBN) | Tagged: Big Brother, Big Brother 12, live feeds
It was Veto Comp day in the Big Brother 12 house and things were turned upside down by the results. This was a prizes and punishments styled Veto which landed on HG in a penguin suit, two hand-cuffed together, one of them taking chum baths, and one of them walked away with some cash and a vacation. Read on to find out who won what and what all happened Saturday in BB12.

Big Brother 12 Live Feed Highlights – August 21, 2010:
<blockquote>
10:00 AM BBT – Enzo discovering the joys of Have-Not cooking as he fries up some broccoli. The man ain’t happy.
4:00 PM BBT – Live Feeds come back from a nearly 5-hour Veto Comp. Brendon has no hair and Enzo is in a penguin suit (this year’s Casey-in-a-banana). Brendon has won the Veto.
4:15 PM BBT – Britney is crying to Lane and very upset that
Brendon won the Veto. She feels the guys weren’t trying to win the Veto
and were going for prizes instead. She’ll have to be handcuffed to Brendon for 24 hours.
4:30 PM BBT – Enzo discusses having his clothes taken away. Sounds like they were given to charity. He’s upset because he had $2,000 worth of shoes with him.
5:00 PM BBT – Enzo and Hayden working Britney over about
renoming Matt. Enzo is blaming everything on Matt and Britney seems to
be buying it.
6:20 PM BBT – Live Feeds return and we discover that Jessie (BB10 & BB11) was in the house as part of Britney’s Pandora’s Box experience. She uses the word “douche” a lot when describing the experience.
Meanwhile, the rest of the house got to have a feast with hula dancers
(yes, even the Have-Nots feasted). Britney was tempted by Pandora’s
offer of an hour of advice. It was working out advice from Jessie, not
what she expected.
7:15 PM BBT – Britney tells Hayden that her plan is to renom Matt, but she won’t warn him that she’s doing it.
9:15 PM BBT – Brendon and Britney come back from the DR and
they’ve been handcuffed together for the next 24 hours. Brendon will
have a take a chum bath while handcuffed to her, but there’s a good bit
of slack there for her.
10:00 PM BBT – Brendon takes his first chum bath and it’s pretty disgusting. He’s covered in green scum.
11:00 PM BBT – Hayden reveals to Enzo that he won the $5K and the Hawaiian vacation. Enzo says to keep his mouth shut on that until after the eviction as they want to pin those on Matt.
12:30 AM BBT – Ragan borrows Enzo’s penguin suit and does a happy-dance.

By: Matt (BBN) | Tagged: Big Brother, Big Brother 12, PoV
Tonight on Big Brother 12 we’ll see what happened in the latest PoV competition and have confirmed to us who won the Power of Veto. If you’ve been following the spoilers then you already know who won!
It’s been an insane few days in the house and everything has been tossed upside down. Noms have been made, Veto events have destroyed everything, and there’s even been some flagrant rule violation thanks to Enzo eating anything he can get his Have-Not hands on. Double eviction will be all we need come Thursday.
So we know that Brendon won POV last Saturday. Britney as HOH had put him and Enzo on the block, but of course he will use his POV to take himself off, which will require Britney to name someone else to go on the block. At the moment smart money says this will be Matt, but since tonight's episode will be 'live', the part where she names the replacement, we can't be sure who she'll name.......be there !!
Thursday night’s Double Eviction event will be insane and the HGs
will be going nuts. They’re suspecting it may happen, but Big Brother
never lets them know until it starts. The Live Feeds will let you witness firsthand how all of this will play out and impact the game without CBS editing what they let you see.
Not only that but you’ll be able to watch the remaining endurance
comps live as they happen. Remember Evel Dick’s 8-hour endurance
stand-off with Zach? That’s the stuff legendary Big Brother moments are
made of and you can only watch it on the uncensored house cams using your Big Brother Feed

Re: Big Brother #2
# 13 starts on July 7 th ! It's right around the corner. This will be epic ! I doubt that they'll find anyone as hot as Annie on #12, but they should give her a chance to come back since she was the first one booted off.

I haven't looked in this thread since last year, but how two pics from the celebrity softball game in May got on here I have no idea...
