The crew's itinerary will include investigations in Madagascar, Tanzania, Guam, Kenya and Cambodia. The season kicks off with a trip to Pompeii, where Josh and crew conduct the very first overnight paranormal investigation in the famous ancient city.

BEAST LEGENDS — Series Premiere Thursday, September 9, at 10PM — The six-part series journeys around the world using scientific data to reconstruct what mythological monsters, from Krakens and Griffins to Fire Dragons, would have been like — if they had ever existed. In each of the hour-long episodes, Beast Legends uncovers historical and eyewitness accounts by zeroing in on archaeological and other physical evidence to assemble the most accurate picture possible of these monsters, from where they might have lived to how they would have behaved. The show then uses the information to create incredibly realistic CG animations of the creatures. Executive Producers of Beast Legends are Pauline Duffy and Elliott Halpern. Series Director is Robin Bicknell. For Canwest: Production Executive Nick Crowe and V-P, Factual Content, Michael Kot. Beast Legends is produced by Yap Films in association with Canwest, Syfy and BBC Worldwide, with the participation of the Canada Media Fund and Rogers Cable Network Fund, and with the assistance of the Canadian Film or Video Production Tax Credit.
SCARE TACTICS — Returns for Fourth Season Monday, October 4, at 9PM — Hosted by Tracy Morgan, star of 30 Rock. Set-up by friends and loved ones, unsuspecting victims are placed into elaborately staged scary situations involving movie-style special effects and makeup. The horror hoaxes are skillfully designed to tap into the wildest fears of the prank's prey. Viewers laugh along to the hilarious reactions of the show's "stars" as they are caught off guard and on camera. Scott Hallock and Kevin Healey of Hallock Healey Entertainment are the executive producers and creators of Scare Tactics. Morgan also serves as an executive producer.
FACT OR FAKED: PARANORMAL FILES — Series Return Thursday, November 4, at 9PM — Fact or Faked: Paranormal Files, Syfy's new break-out hit summer series, continues with its mission to uncover the truth behind some of the most compelling, mystifying and seemingly unexplainable images caught on camera and posted on the Internet. The series features former FBI Special Agent Ben Hansen, lead scientist Bill Murphy, effects specialist Larry Caughlin, journalist Jael De Pardo, photography expert Chi-Lan Lieu and stunt expert Austin Porter. Their quarry is comprised of all unnatural phenomena including ghosts, poltergeist activity, UFOs, strange creature sightings, and unknown energy anomalies. Fact or Faked: Paranormal Files is executive produced by John Brenkus and Mickey Stern for BASE Productions, and is a co-production with Universal Networks International.
HOLLYWOOD TREASURE — Series Premiere Thursday, November 4, at 10PM — Hollywood Treasure is a one-hour, weekly documentary-reality series about the high stakes world of collecting showbiz and pop culture memorabilia, including science fiction and fantasy props and costumes. The series follows Joe Maddalena, owner of Profiles in History and the world's largest auctioneer of original movie, television and pop culture collectibles, as he and his crew search for the most compelling, rare, and sought-after Hollywood memorabilia, from the Wicked Witch of the West's hat and the vintage Chitty Chitty Bang Bang car to Mary Poppins' carpet bag.

In season three, the team will face a host of new and daunting abnormals, embark on adventures with both new and familiar faces and unravel some of the secrets woven through the Sanctuary's rich past.

Re: SYFY FALL PROGRAMMING
And where is Caprica?
I know, I know. It comes back in January...after showing the first HALF of its first season last spring.
This announcement from Syfy came last March
SYFY GREENLIGHTS THREE INCHES PILOT FROM FOX TELEVISION STUDIOS
Bob Cooper and Landscape Entertainment to Produce Script from Harley Peyton
New York, NY - March 16, 2010 - Syfy has ordered the 90-minute pilot Three Inches from writer Harley Peyton (Twin Peaks) it was announced today by Mark Stern, Executive Vice President of Development for Syfy. The action-adventure/fantasy will be produced by Fox Television Studios and Executive Producer Bob Cooper, whose Landscape Entertainment is producing. J.J. Jamieson heads up television for Landscape Entertainment. Peyton also serves as executive producer.
In Three Inches, professional daydreamer and underachiever, Walter, is struck by lightning, and develops a unique "super" power—the ability to move any object using just his mind ... but only a distance of three inches. He's soon recruited by a covert team of superheroes each gifted with their own extraordinarily ordinary abilities. Together, the unlikely band of heroes proves that "super" is simply a state of mind.
"Three Inches is a fun, smart, off-beat spin on the superhero genre. It introduces a new group of crime fighters who possess some imaginative—if not all that super—powers," said Stern. "We look forward to working with Harley, Bob, and Fox Television Studios on this project."
David Madden, executive vice president, Fox Television Studios, said, "We felt there was something special and particularly twisted about this script, both in tone and in its sense of imagination. We could not be more thrilled to be working on it with Syfy."
Harley Peyton was producer and/or writer of more than 20 episodes of David Lynch's groundbreaking television hit Twin Peaks, for which he received an Emmy nomination for Outstanding Writing for Drama Series (1990). He also wrote the screenplay for Less Than Zero based on the novel by Bret Easton Ellis. He is currently working on a follow up to the feature film The Thomas Crown Affair.
Syfy is a media destination for imagination-based entertainment. With year round acclaimed original series, events, blockbuster movies, classic science fiction and fantasy programming, a dynamic Web site ([You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] and a portfolio of adjacent business (Syfy Ventures), Syfy is a passport to limitless possibilities. Originally launched in 1992 as SCI FI Channel, and currently in 95 million homes, Syfy is a network of NBC Universal, one of the world's leading media and entertainment companies. (Syfy. Imagine greater.)
Not so much hot news, right?
Well, I got your HOT NEWS right here. James Marsters is going to be a regular cast member on this. He starts filming it August 30th. He plays kind of a Giles-like character who oversees the superheroes.

Re: SYFY FALL PROGRAMMING
The Three Inches sounds interesting but their "unscripted programming" offerings are a waste of time imho, pure fantasy masquerading as...as what ? I suppose the "moon landings were faked/Bush planned 9-11", crowd may be the target audience ? [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
The returning scripted shows are all okay, especially Eureka and W13. I suppose the WWE thing brings in some revenue. I can't imagine why else they would want it.
The Saturday night "original" [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] movies are predictably following the same path. Recycle the monsters, on land or water, wreak havoc, ultimately destroy, world saved, repeat next week... [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

Re: SYFY FALL PROGRAMMING
Besides the 2 shows you mentioned (which I watch), I have also liked Sanctuary, Haven, Merlin and Stargate Universe on Syfy.
I never watch their reality shows...on other channels I confess to watching Project Runway and Dancing with the Stars.

I watch Ghost Hunters and Destination Truth every once in awhile if there is nothing else interesting me. They can be kind of a hoot! :P
Enjoy Warehouse 13 and sort of like Stargate Universe ... it just doesn't grab me like the original SG1! BTW ~ I am watching SG1 marathon on SciFi right now! The good ones when Jack O'Neill was on!

Re: SYFY FALL PROGRAMMING
I only liked SG-A . I started watching during a marathon when I had pneumonia. It was such a relief not to even have to change the channel...so I deliriously got hooked...who is this taciturn man? (it's funny now...lol)

If you didn't know better (and I don't [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] ) you'd think that Stephanie Jacobsen should be named Naoko Mori....but regardless she is rather exotic looking... [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]......or, come to think of it, why would I assume that the picture isn't of Naoko Mori ? Duh....
