BB day 49 Friday
So after last night's double eviction accompanied by much tears on some HGs part, the HOH comp. was held late, 8-9 pm BBT , and Andy wins ! Only the second time he's played in any comp., the first was the POV earlier last night, won by Aaryn, but here he is winning HOH ! Boredom and predictability are the expected outcome of this, probably accurate, and only a McCrae/Amanda breakup would add some drama in the next week. Many fans on the chat rooms and blogs are fed up with the whole season and are bailing on watching and are keeping up only on the blogs. But no matter how bad it gets they ain't a-gonna run me off ! And who knows what extreme measures production may take to turn things around. Already it is assumed that someone will be brought back from the jury house. There is precedent for that as in previous seasons, but unless it is a controversial or wildly popular HG, it won't do much to spice things up, and I don't see who that would be this season as compared to Jeff, Brendon, or Rachel from past seasons, who came back.
'Big Brother 15' Spoilers: Who Won the Week 7 HoH?

The double eviction episode of Big Brother 15 certainly shook things up a little bit. After Candice was predictably evicted, Aaryn won HoH and PoV and blindsided the audience when she backdoored Judd, sending him to the jury house with Candice.
This brings us to the Top 9 where, after the show ended and some time passed, the HGs played in the new HoH competition (Wednesday night they practiced rolling a ball down a plank). Just to clarify, this is the eighth HoH, but since we had a double eviction, I'll be referring to this as week 7.
SPOILER WARNING: This article contains Big Brother 15 spoilers.
Andy is the new HoH!
Well, at least he FINALLY won something. But it's also terrible news for me.
Andy is fiercely loyal to Amanda and McCrae and will do whatever they want. The biggest problem for him is that he's friends with everyone and now he has to actually do something. He's been getting closer to Spencer and Jessie, he's very tight with Helen and Elissa, and seems very loyal to Aaryn now that she's done exactly what he and McCrae and Amanda wanted twice.
It will be curious to see how he handles being forced to make a decision. Putting up Jessie and GinaMarie seems like the obvious choice, and also the weakest one since it's barely even a game move at this point. I'm sure he'll try to be all silly and fabulous and act like this decision is so hard because his only strategy is not upsetting anyone. But more realistically, he'll do whatever Amanda and McCrae tell him to do, because he's their obedient little pet.
UPDATE: Just 30 minutes after the live feeds came back, Andy told Amanda that Jessie and Spencer will be the nominees, with GinaMarie as a potential replacement if one of them wins the PoV. If this comes to pass, it will be Spencer's fifth nomination and Jessie's fourth, while Andy, McCrae, Amanda and GinaMarie have never been nominated by another HG (since Amanda and GM's noms were from America as MVP). Now I'm going to say this is another dull and predictable week, and at least one commenter is going to point out that I whine about that every week.
With Andy's victory, Amanda is now the only person in the house who hasn't won a competition. Also interesting is that he's the first openly gay HG to win HoH since Kevin back in season 11.
The Have-Nots for the week were also chosen: Helen, Elissa, Aaryn and GinaMarie. Hooray, Aaryn is finally a Have-Not and now everyone in the house has been one. It's also the third time for Elissa and Helen.
How do you feel about Andy winning and who do you think Amanda will tell him to nominate?

'Big Brother 15' By-the-Numbers: 9 Fun Facts About the Top 9
Friday, August 09, 2013
John Kubicek
Senior Writer, BuddyTV
I'm a huge Big Brother nerd, especially when it comes to statistics. Now that Big Brother 15 has reached the Top 9 and has completed seven HoHs, PoVs and eviction votes, I thought I'd look at the numbers to see how this year is stacking up against past seasons.
Is Aaryn's three HoH wins in seven weeks a record, or did someone else do it faster? How does Andy's impressive streak of never winning or being nominated compare to other notable Do-Nothings? Can Spencer become the most-nominated HG of all-time? Is this going to be the most female-dominant season ever?
Here's a look at some of my favorite stats about Big Brother 15 so far. NOTE: These stats only reflect the first seven rounds of the game and don't include the eighth HoH competition.
Voting with the House
A common theme of Big Brother 15 is voting with the house, and more people have done it than ever before. After the first seven eviction votes, six HGs have voted with the majority every single time: McCrae, Amanda, Andy, Helen, Elissa and Jessie. That's a record for making it this deep into the game. The previous high was season 12, when five HGs had always voted with the majority after seven evictions (Hayden, Lane, Enzo, Ragan and Brendon).
Candice and Judd's evictions also brought the season up to three unanimous votes (Kaitlin's being the other). That's more than the past two seasons, which only had two unanimous votes. The least harmonious year was season 11, which only featured one unanimous eviction vote, and that didn't come until the Top 6 when Russell was evicted by all three voters.
But nothing will ever compare to the Vote-with-the-House-itis syndrome of season 12. Seven of the nine evictions with more than one person voting were unanimous. In fact, all season long, there were only three minority votes cast: Britney and Kathy voting out Matt instead of Monet in week 2, and Kathy voting out Hayden instead of Kristen in week 4.
Aaryn the HoH Queen
By winning her third HoH competition, Aaryn joins an elite group of 12 former HGs who have won at least three HoHs in a single season. That list includes seven winners and all but one (season 14's Frank Eudy) made it to the Final 4. She's also only the fourth woman to win three HoHs in a single season. Jennifer "Nakomis" Dedmon was the first to do it in season 5, Janelle Pierzina did it on All-Stars and Rachel Reilly did it in season 13.
However, she's not the fastest to do it. Though winning three of the first seven HoHs is impressive, Janelle won three of the first six in season 7, while Hardy Ames-Hill also won three of the first seven in season 2. No one has ever won more than four HoHs in a single season.
A Double Winner
Aaryn is also the 21st person in the show's history to win HoH and PoV in the same week (McCrae was the 20th back in week 1). That list only includes three past winners: Jordan Lloyd, Hayden Moss and Rachel Reilly. And if you're curious, last season's Danielle Murphree is the only person to do it twice in the same season.
Andy the Ultimate Do-Nothing
Andy made it through seven rounds of the game without ever winning HoH or PoV and never getting nominated. He is only the third person in Big Brother history to go this long without winning or being nominated. Zach Swerdzewski did it in season 8 (he was then nominated the eighth time) and April Lewis did it in season 6 (she actually survived eight rounds before finally winning both HoH and PoV the ninth time).
Spencer the Pawn Star
Spencer could become the most nominated HG ever. He's already at four nominations (and survived eviction votes three times), but there have been 15 previous HGs who were nominated five or six times during their stint on the show (including HGs from season 1 who were marked for banishment).
A House of Women
The Top 9 only includes three men: McCrae, Spencer and Andy. This is only the third time in the show's history that has happened, the others being season 6 (with Howie, James and Beau) and season 13 (with Brendon, Jeff and Adam). There has never been a Top 9 with less than three men.
Winning Women
After the first 14 competitions of the season, the women are dominating the men by winning nine of the challenges, or 64 percent. That is tied with the most female-dominated season, Big Brother 6, when the ladies won 16 out of 25 comps, also 64 percent. To date, there have only been four seasons when the women won more competitions than the men: seasons 6, 7, 8 and 13. Those last three were aided by dominant performances by individual women, including Janelle Pierzina in All-Stars, Daniele Donato in season 8 and Rachel Reilly in season 13, all of whom won six or more comps.
No Votes
Seven of the Top 9 HGs have never received a single eviction vote cast against them, with Spencer and Elissa as the only exceptions. Obviously most of them will be voted against before the season is over, but it's still impressive
Seven Vetoes for Seven HGs
Not only have the first seven Power of Veto competitions been won by seven different HGs, but it has been used every time and has always been won by a nominee or the HoH. In seasons 3, 5 and 9, eight different HGs won the Power of Veto, but there has never been a season where nine different HGs have won the PoV. This year, GinaMarie, Helen, Amanda and Andy are all left in the game and have yet to win the Power of Veto.

Judd and Julie on Big Brother 15
Last night on Big Brother 15′s Double Eviction episode we began hearing some cryptic messages from host Julie Chen. These messages and what we’ve heard on the Feeds this morning appear to support the theory that an evicted HG will be returning to BB15.
Before the evicted HGs came out last night, Julie announced to us that she would not reveal any information from the outside world. When she spoke with them she did not mention the MVP twist or how America voted for it nor did she reveal any other unknown details to either evicted HG.
Instead Julie told viewers when Candice was about to be evicted “she is still part of the game” and then told Candice “it’s goodbye for now, but there’s still a lot of summer left.”
Also of interest, you may notice we don’t have an eviction interview today. No chance for us to indirectly pass along details by asking questions keeps these HGs in the dark.
Then this morning (9:47AM BBT) on the Live Feed, sign-up now for your 2-day trial, Aaryn announced she was asked in DR what she would think about an evicted HG getting the chance to compete to return to the game. Fish eventually arrived, but we were able to hear her full statement before that happened. HGs didn’t sound happy about it.
If this is happening then I’m guessing Big Brother will be keeping all the Jury members isolated from one another to avoid a repeat of Big Brother Canada’s situation. Gary was able to return to the game after having spent time mingling with other evicted HGs in Jury. They were able to share notes and commiserate over their eviction, possibly galvanizing support for one another. I don’t think we’ll see that happen again anywhere.
I think there’s a definite possibility that an evicted HG from Jury (not pre-Jury) will be coming back. No idea if it would be by viewer votes or a competition like we saw when Brendon trumped Lawon’s “special power.” And really I have no idea if this is a sure thing, but the signs point to something like this happening.
What do you think? Should a Big Brother Jury member return to BB15? Vote below.

Big Brother 15: Nomination Anticipation In Week 7
Posted: 09 Aug 2013 09:43 AM PDT
Big Brother 15 - Spencer
Now that we have a new Head of Household for Big Brother 15 thanks to a late night competition it’s time to start looking at the pending nominations. If you’d rather wait for the HoH to be revealed on Sunday’s show then steer clear of our spoiler discussions.
After surviving a knock-out style competition to be the last HG standing, Andy became Head of Household. That means we’re in for a very predictable “whatever you want, Amanda & Helen,” kind of week.
You can sum up Andy’s entire plan for the week in one short minute. Flashback on your Feeds to 10:28PM BBT 8/8 Cams 3/4 to find Andy and Amanda talking alone.

Andy and Amanda plan nominations 01 Andy and Amanda plan nominations 02 Andy and Amanda plan nominations 03
Andy confirms what we would expect. He’s going to nominate Jessie and Spencer. He plans to pull Spencer aside and promise him he is 100% safe this week. Jessie is the main target.
If Jessie wins Veto and comes down then GinaMarie will go up as the renom and become the new target. Andy fears that GM wouldn’t understand the plan and come after him if he were to put her up against Jessie in the first place.
Amanda agrees with the plan and idea of making Jessie the main target. They quickly break and go back to what they were doing before.
So there you have it. There’s no MVP twist anymore to shake this up so we can just skip ahead to next Thursday’s eviction episode and hope for a shift in power.
The Nomination Ceremony will take place later tonight and then the Veto Competition will follow on Saturday afternoon with the Veto Ceremony on Monday afternoon. Keep checking back all weekend for more updates and details from inside the house as we continue our daily BB15 coverage.
