Re: Better Call Saul in February
As goofy as this sounds, it does make me MORE interested in the show. So they could be on to something.

Who's In and Who's Out
Breaking Bad creator Vince Gilligan is directing the series, with Saul Goodman character creator Peter Gould working as the co-showrunner and several members of the writing team returning for the spinoff. As for the cast, Bob Odenkirk will star as Saul, and Jonathan Banks is reprising his role as Mike.
The one question on everyone's minds, of course, is whether Bryan Cranston and Aaron Paul will be on board. So far, nothing has been confirmed, but it's looking good. Referencing the flexible timeline, Gould said, "That gives us the ability to bring back characters that were killed on Breaking Bad." And although Dean Norris won't return as Hank, saying he's "not a big fan" of revisiting projects that have already been done, Cranston and Paul haven't dismissed the idea. In fact, Paul said, "Anything Vince is involved with, I'm there. I owe him my entire career. And the idea of jumping into the skin of Jesse Pinkman again in his lighter days — because it's all a prequel — it would be fun." Yeah, bitch!

Re: Better Call Saul in February
I hope this one will contain a good bit of humor. I wouldn't want to see it be a Breaking Bad clone.

Of course as soon as I saw that Jimmy McGill's office (Saul Goodman's real name) was at 160 Juan Tabo Bl. I took a look. It's essentially a parking lot. Of course they wouldn't want to identify a real building. The Family Dollar store on the east side of the parking lot is at 126 Juan Tabo. Incidentally , the name comes from an old Spanish map from the 17th-18th Century. The name appeared on the map in that area. Juan Tabo is believed to have been a sheep herder. Nothing else has been found about him.
The Weinerschnitzel store is at 110 Juan Tabo. So of course if the show takes off there will be tourists wandering around the area looking for 160. I have saved you that task.....

Re: Better Call Saul in February
Thanks for all that hard work Banjo. Much appreciated.
I'm really excited about this. I've seen the trailers and I think it will be different but with a little bit of the flavor or 'Breaking Bad.'

I'm not sure how "hard" the work was. I never had to leave my chair thanks to Google Earth....

Re: Better Call Saul in February
This actress is cast as "Kim". She seems to be a good choice.

On the Late Late show on CBS they are using guest hosts after Craig Ferguson left and before James Corden takes over as permanent host in March.

Whitney Cummings has been the guest host this week so she had Rhea (pronounced Ray) as a guest. She had played Whitney's friend on Whitney's sitcom which wasn't picked up by NBC after one season.
So Rhea was telling how she was walking through the Sony back lot one time and passed the Breaking Bad RV where Walt and Jesse did their cooking in the early episodes. She thought to herself how great it would be to work with "those guys" , as she put it. Then shortly thereafter she got a call from the Saul producers to come in and audition. She did, got the part and spent the next 6 months in NM filming S1. She realizes it could be a stepping stone to bigger things.
Whitney said that the critics, who have seen the first 3 eps, said that it's better than Breaking Bad. "Don't say that !" , Rhea said.

Better? I can't imagine! Still, it makes me excited that the reviews are good.
