The case could be made that some shuffling could be made to better match the Brawn/Brains/Beauty categories especially between the Brawn and Beauty tribes, but I suppose they had to meet as many viewer expectations as possible which is impossible, so expect to see a lot of critiques of these pairings.....

An interesting group on the whole and a good blindside at the second vote. The "Brains" tribe is criminally incompetent, and is the "oddest tribe I've ever seen", according to Jeff. I expected them to boot the annoying , bossy, nuclear engineer, the bossy ones are usually the first to go. But no; first they boot the president of the Miami Marlins, not totally unexpected, but then on the second vote they boot the professional poker player. That was a good blindside.   But...it leaves the bossy nuclear engineer still there. I can't see how she can survive another vote. If she does then the rest of the tribe (which is now down to only 4 stumble bum members against the untouched 6 members of the other two tribes) may have hammered the nails in their own coffin.

Tony is shaping up to be the biggest threat and with two immunity idols in his possession he won't be booted for the next two weeks, if he plays at least half-way smart. But Tasha is one of those types of players that we have seen in past seasons who might just slip in under the radar and wreak havoc on the others plans.

Season finale tonight. A lot of speculation as to the winner.  Tasha is gone so she's out of the picture but I still think that Tony is the biggest threat.



It's official: Survivor: Cagayan will feature a final two instead of a final three in the end for the first time in 10 seasons.

Woo Set To 'Burn The Whole Place Down' In Survivor Finale?


CBS has released a new promo for the final episode of Survivor: Cagayan, which is set to air Wednesday, May 21. The promo promises that there will be "three Tribal Councils," essentially confirming that there will be two people voted off in the finale, narrowing down the final four to a final two. The episode will feature the final four Tribal Council, the final three Tribal Council and then the Final Tribal Council, which goes back to the traditional season finales of early Survivor seasons.

While the promo does not explicitly say that there will be a final two, Xfinity reporter Gordon Holmes tweeted Thursday that he has confirmed with host Jeff Probst that it is indeed a final two this season.

Survivor Season 29 Concept Revealed?

This is the first time Survivor is going to go down to the final two since Survivor: Tocantins, season 18.

Enstars previously speculated that Cagayan would have a final two instead of a final three. A vast majority of readers who took the Enstars poll on which they preferred, a final two or a final three, said that they did prefer the final two. A total of 60 percent of people who took the poll said they preferred final two while 22 percent voted final three, and 13 percent said it didn't matter.

As Survivor: Cagayan enters its finale, the four remaining castaways could all make a case for themselves to win the million dollar prize. Kass McQuillen may be considered the least likely to win among the group considering the amount of bridges she's burned in the post-merge, but she has played the game hard and made the biggest move in the game by switching sides. Woo Hwang has not outwardly made anyone angry in the jury and he may be seen as a likable alternative depending who he's up against.

Meanwhile, the two biggest contenders to take the game are likely Spencer Bledsoe and Tony Vlachos. Each has taken different paths to get to the final four. Tony has been in a power position since the merge, finding three Idols over the course of the game. He has made some of the biggest power moves in teh game, voting out alliance members like Jefra Bland and LJ McKanas.

Spencer has been an underdog since the beginning of the game, having been stuck on a losing Brains tribe. After Kass flipped on his alliance after the merge, Spencer has been a target for several votes, but he has managed to stay alive through winning Immunity Challenges and subtly manipulating Tony.

It remains to be seen who will win the $1 million, but if the finale is anything like the first 13 episodes, it is sure to be a memorable and unpredictable conclusion.

Survivor: Cagayan airs its finale Wednesday, May 21 at 8 p.m. on CBS.

Told ya ! Told ya! Told ya !   Tony wins !  It was a pretty popular win and one of the best seasons of all. Wu lived by his Tae Kwan Do honor code and took Tony to the Final Two rather than Kass.  He knew that he had a much better chance of getting the jury vote against Kass than he did Tony. This decision cost him the million but he explained his reasoning and we can't fault it.

This season they didn't have a vote for a fan favorite. That saved them $100 K,  I don't know if there was any other reason.

Season 30.....Blood vs. Water II......San Juan Del Sur.  That sounds like it will be in the Phillipines again possibly Puerto Rico, although that seems unlikely given the bureaucratic obstacles that are raised in a country governed or influenced by the U.S. regime.
