The S5 premire was good, looks like plenty of potential for new plot lines. Alicia Clark spent a lot of time covered in blood from chopping up Walkers with that prop blade, which was smaller than the real blade from the crashed plane, but it would have looked even more unwieldy if they had tried to duplicate the real size. On The Talking Dead, Alycia Debnam-Carey who plays Alicia (the slight name change was genius !) said that the fake prop was made out of foam and wasn't heavy but the inertia when swinging it still made it difficult. Also, she jokingly wondered why they needed two guys in protective suits and goggles standing behind her, throwing more fake blood on her.

They are getting close to 'jumping the shark' big time. By introducing these various 'technical situations' they risk not being very accurate. When Colman arrives in the hot air balloon and 'crashes' because they 'ran out of fuel', we can see that they didn't any propane tanks onboard in the first place!

In the other scene where they briefly start the "turboprop' engine", the sound track is of a piston/reciprocating engine.

I joined a FTWD fan site to see if anyone else notices these things. They do ...

Good grief ! They are still making bad tech errors. This plane has turboprop engines as they have stated before. Therefore they do not need "aviation fuel" (100LL) but rather JP-4 the standard jet fuel. I need to do some research on this plane because it is an old British design and I don't know much about it. Why it was chosen by production as the plane that they flew and crashed earlier is not apparent unless they deliberately wanted to keep it obscure to avoid criticism...it won't work.

Another season finale cliffhanger reminiscent of Glenn on The Walking Dead some seasons back. That one got the fans in an uproar and this one is doing the same.
