Re: Dr. Who
Very well done. Loved every single minute. And I did not cry at the end which I had been dreading so...yay!

Re: Dr. Who
Mixed bag. Lots to like but the plot line was a bit muddy to me. Still, we get to see 11 naked, dating, bald and old. I will miss him and his companion too. I'm going to need until next summer to be ready for a new guy.

Re: Dr. Who
I agree with everything you said. Lots to soak up. At the end I didn't understand what Twelve said to Clara. I want to know, but I'm not ready to go back and see it again. Just too much.
Is the actress that plays Clara not continuing?

Re: Dr. Who
Since I watch Dr. Who very, very rarely, this thread was somewhat confusing but this explains it:

Re: Dr. Who
Very good article. Thanks for that. I saw that the Christmas episode is on On Demand for Time-Warner until the first of the year. So, I'll probably see it again in the next day or two.

Re: Dr. Who
Great article, thanks Banjo! I'm very excited and think this is going to be a season shocks and surprises but I have to admit that I'm ticked off that we have to wait for August. Ah, well, I'll be complaining about the heat by then.

Re: Dr. Who
Craig Ferguson said the other night that he is friends with the new Dr. They were in a band together back in the day. The Dr. was the vocalist and Craig played drums.

Re: Dr. Who
maybe we'll get to see the new Doctor make an appearance on Craig's show. That would be cool!

Re: Dr. Who
I DVR Craig whenever the listings say he'll have guests that I'm interested in seeing, almost always actresses that I like or some that I've never heard of but watch to see who they are, then I fast forward until their segment comes on. It's interesting to see how the "new" ones handle his innuendos. The "old hands" like Julie Bowen , Michaela, Allison Brie, Gillian Jacobs (Community) etc. just laugh with him, but some like some of the British starlets and Summer Glau don't know quite what to make of him.

Re: Dr. Who
Time to fire up the TARDIS again: the BBC has just announced that Doctor Who will return in August. Don't know if BBCA will have it simultaneously but has to be around then anyway.

Re: Dr. Who
Thanks for posting this Rus! I just can't wait for Dr. Who to start back up. I think Capaldi is going to awesome.
Re: Dr. Who
So, new Dr. Who...what did we think?
Will take me awhile to adjust but I think I will in time. I'm having a bit of trouble with his accent (not that I don't like it, I just can't tell what he's saying all the time) . And I was cheesed off about something I thought would happen at the beginning and it didnt. Then at the end, it did. I needed that. Overall, I'm very glad it's back.

Re: Dr. Who
Unusual for me but I went in totally unspoiled. It was ok but the timing is just not there yet. Yes, his accent is thick but I'll adjust. I think it will get better but it's going to take some time.
That thing that happened at the end....totally opened up a new can of worms. Just sayin'
