Re: Dr. Who
I didn't watch the new Dr. (still having trouble getting interested...sorry) but I did watch that new show on BBCA, "Intruders". Not sure what it's about yet...one of those shows where "mysterious forces" lurk behind the scenes. I'll try it again even though the little girl drowned her pet cat in the bathtub in the first ep. Just because she was "possessed" at the time is hardly an excuse...in my book....

Re: Dr. Who
Confession: I'm a new Dr. Who fan. I tried to watch once maybe in 2006 and didn't even watch a complete episode as I was unimpressed. However, this summer I watched the first 5 seasons of the modern Doctor Who and I got hooked. So I still need to watch season 6 & 7 still.
So far I really liked the Capaldi as Dr Who. He is entertaining and funny. Looking forward to more.

Re: Dr. Who
Just back from seeing this first Dr. who episode in the theater. My daughter took me for my birthday. I had seen it on tv but it was fun to see it with an audience who had many members dressed as various Whovians.

Re: Dr. Who
Tonight's was a fun romp in Ye Olde England. Clara wants to meet Robin Hood. Dr. Who is under the impression he is a fictional character.
Still missing Matt Smith.

Re: Dr. Who
Yes, I'm missing Matt too. My mind hasn't settled with Capaldi just yet. I really do like him as an actor. I'm just not adjusting to his doctor just yet. And Clara seems so different now. To me she is just kind of lost.
Re: Dr. Who
Tonight's was a good one. Lots of action for Clara (which I like) and craziness which is all wrapped up in the end. Love how Clara stands up for herself.

Re: Dr. Who
Tonight was all about defending Clara's school...or the Universe, I couldn't be sure. Finally, we have come clean with all the secrets...so that's good.

Re: Dr. Who
This was the finale of the season. Went back to some of the show's history and had plenty of new twists. I have come to like Capaldi in the role. But I am still meh on his relationship with the companions.
We still have a Christmas episode to look forward to.

Re: Dr. Who
Oh, I really liked this one. I mean there was a bit of "Oh, I do not like THAT." from me from time to time. Ben kept saying "Give it time." And sure enough...I loved it. It will keep me happy til we get another season.

Re: Dr. Who
I thought the season finale was fantastic! I think Capaldi is a great actor and I bet if his next season is his last, we will see just how great he really is.
Loved the Christmas episode. My favorite moment being when Riversong is going on about how the Doctor didn't love her or care and Capaldi so nailed that moment when he said,"Hello Sweetie!" (Sigh!)

Re: Dr. Who
I've come to really appreciate Capaldi. Don't care much for either of the companions. But I am over the moon at the rumors about who the next Dr. will be. Fingers crossed it will turn out to be true.
