American Horror Story season 3

The problem with this critique is that maybe .0001% of the viewers have ever heard of the historical character that Kathy Bates plays or know of her reputation. So any "redeeming" on the part of the writers is unknown to them and Bates' performance stands on its own merits. Personally it's not that appealing to me and I wonder if Emma Roberts, a much more appealing performance, will be back since it seems she was killed off by Jessica Lange...

They must have a lot of faith in this series since it has already been given the greenlight for another season after this one. Although I agree, now that they have "offed" Emma, they need to bring in some more young people.

Taissa Farmiga is 19. She was in S1 but not S2.

I agree that they need more young people. Not all witches are old....
