Re: Bones season 10
With John Francis Daley off directing a major motion picture, "Vacation," it was inevitable that the actor would need to leave "Bones" for a while during the FOX drama's landmark tenth season -- but it's how he went out that will leave a lasting impression.

Re: Bones season 10
Michaela Conlin was on Craig Ferguson last week. She's always a hoot when she's a guest and usually manages to 'dig herself into a hole' over something she says. This time it was when she talked about kissing the other actress in a recent episode and said, " I can understand why men like women. They are soft and smell good." Of course Ferguson jumped on that after warning her that he was 'creepier than usual" because he is growing a moustache. So anyway Micheala tried to explain her remark while getting deeper and deeper until finally putting her head in her hands..."oh lord".....but she laughs at everything and you can't help but laugh along with her.

Then later in the week he had Gillian Jacobs on, another of my favorite supporting actresses on TV. She was plugging her new movie and can joust with Ferguson and his 'creepiness' with the best of them.....so it was a good week.

Interesting that they were both born in PA.

DVR, a lot to catch up...btw both Emily and Zooey are pregnant. They've been hiding Zooey behind boxes and furniture on New Girl....

Re: Bones season 10
For some reason I thought last night was the season finale. So when the pregnant wife throws the gambling addicted husband out of the house I thought, Wow! , that's a different sort of finale cliff hanger ! But no, there's a couple more to go and I'm sure they will come up with a more 'conventional' cliffhanger and it looks like Booth gets back into Brennan's good graces...

Re: Bones season 10
I know she wants to keep the show going but I wonder about him. Is this his way of getting written off the show? After all it is called '"Bones" not "Bones and Booth" .

Re: Bones season 10
Nah, they'll all be back next season, unless something dramatic happens in the next few eps this season....

So now we know there was no "danger" type of cliffhanger and they will be back for S11, but is it possible that Bones and Booth won't be at the Jeffersonian any more, but rather some sort of 'freelance' forensics ? That seems unlikely because how would they work the other cast members into it ? At least Angela and Hodgins aren't going to Paris. That was a naive idea in the first place. Don't they know about Parisian winters ?

I think they will quickly return to the Jeffersonian. Something will draw them back.

Things are pretty much back to 'normal' this season but if David should leave before/in a new season I don't see how the show could go on in anything like a sustainable way.

Re: Bones season 10
I did hear that they are moving Sleepy Hollow to friday nights (not a good sign) and that they have not given Bones a returning time slot for the rest of this season yet at all. So, the question is would they dare to just end it all midstream with no resolution or are they going to take their time to craft something good for the fans. Time will tell.

They wouldn't dare just cut it off without warning, would they ? The social fabric would be rendered forever...

The cowboy one was so cute!
And the next one had a bunch of scary moments. Don't like how it ended. I feel like the Grinch just stole my Christmas.

Re: Bones season 10
They have to have a cliffhanger. They've already used gun shots, disappearances, pending divorce, so what's left except paralysis ? Well, I guess they could use insanity....that's probably for a future season....
The cowboys were "cute" and to their credit they fired their Single Action Colt .45s in the correct way. Booth in particular knew that to just hold the trigger back and fan the hammer would put the most bullets on target the fastest. That's why he won.

American Grit sounds like a true reality show, joining the other three true reality shows, Survivor, the Amazing
Race, and Big Brother.

What this boils down to, it seems to me, is that Hodgins/Angela will have major story lines and more screen time, taking away from Booth/Bones somewhat. Don't know if that will be good or bad....
But too much of Hodgins whining and complaining can get old fast.

Now that they have a new serial killer to consider, there should be plenty of work to keep them going. Might put Hodgins in a better mood.
