If either Norman or Steven are killed off in S6 it will enrage fans and there will be the usual "I'll never watch this stupid show again", but we have to hang together and hang in there through good times and bad.....

Re: Walking Dead season 6
I hope that adding these three doesn't mean that most of the action will take place in Alexandria. That would be boring, unless they come up with unexpected plot twists. But TWD is always best when the group is on the road encountering dangers. I can't see Tovah's character being 'good' on the road. Alexandra might do well. After all, Lori was on the road with Rick originally, and he does need a new love interest after all these seasons..

The Walking Dead has promoted Tovah Feldshuh, Alexandra Breckenridge and Austin Nichols to series regulars, rounding up the main cast to a whopping 18. All three actors play citizens of Alexandria-- which could mean that season 6 will mostly take place in Alexandra or these three will be joining Rick and his gang on the road.
[Video] The Walking Dead: Season 6 Premiere Date and Trailer Revealed>>>
Feldshuh plays Alexandria leader Deanna Monroe, Breckenridge plays Rick's love interest Jessie Anderson, while Nichols plays Jessie's son Spencer. All three actors recurrently appeared in the fifth season of The Walking Dead. Being promoted on the zombie drama, however, does not mean you get to stick around. As series creator Robert Kirkman always say, "no one is safe."
Meanwhile, AMC has also released the key art for the upcoming season. The poster features
Andrew Lincoln's Rick Grimes holding a rifle as he seemingly ponders on his next move. The show's acronym is also present, along with some smoke in the background.

The producers know how to publicize and keep up fan interest better than any other show. Of course it doesn't hurt that the fan base is the most rabid and dedicated of any current show.

New 3:00 trailer. How many other shows are there where the producers and actors go online and share their analyses of what's coming ? They do it on The Talking Dead of course after each episode, but they are unique in giving us a 'heads up' beforehand.

'The Walking Dead' Interview: Rick's 'Not Willing to Compromise Anymore'
Meredith Jacobs
Contributing Writer, BuddyTV
Rick has had enough of suffering fools in the apocalypse, Andrew Lincoln explained when he, Melissa McBride and Greg Nicotero sat down at San Diego Comic-Con to discuss The Walking Dead and tease what's coming up in season 6.
Walking Dead Promotes Three Actors to Series Regulars, Release Key Art for Season 6>>>
Rick Is "Incredibly Uncompromising"
Rick had been restraining himself in Alexandria, but once the walkers came in and Pete killed Reg, that was the last straw. "I think that you meet a man who's not willing to compromise anymore," Lincoln shared. "He's been suffering fools for quite some time and I think as security goes, he's incredibly uncompromising because he realizes that the world out there will inevitably get inside the walls and they weren't up to speed. He's not necessarily angry with the Alexandrians, he just doesn't care about them as much as he cares about his people."
While Rick does want and needs the community of Alexandria to work, a safe place for his family, the question being asked this season is "at what cost?" "It's them and us," Lincoln said. "Are they able to come with us?" If they can't, he has no problem just cutting them out. "We don't need you. We can take this place," he explained. "It's a very interesting sort of dance at the moment, to see where's the brutal side, where's the uncompromising side, where's a side that's willing to open his heart again."
Nicotero pointed to "the contrast of this quiet, pleasant [community] -- the houses were beautiful, we hear kids laughing" and "our characters [at] their absolute bottom of the barrel, after the tornado, they're walking on the road and they're just completely, no energy, no food, nothing." He wanted the new community to be "claustrophobic," and because of that, they showed the walls in almost every frame because "every time you saw [them], you felt that they were almost feeling partially like caged animals."
They used the video camera interviews to show "where each person was emotionally" when they arrived in Alexandria, according to Nicotero. Then there are the Alexandrians, and people like Nicholas and Aiden are "cowards," he explained, not "despicable people." "They just weren't equipped to live in that world."
Which Walking Dead Character Are You?>>>
Carol in Alexandria
Upon arriving in Alexandria, Carol took on this Stepford Wives persona, which "is really fun" for McBride. "It's becoming a little bit more entertaining for me as an actor to play this character because it feels like her original story was just so close to me and so personal that it just gut-wrenching for me," she shared. "It fits perfectly with her story, her backstory, where she came from."
Planting Seeds
"We really want our audience to work at discovering things," Nicotero said when discussing the season 6 premiere, recalling when they set up the Wolves in season 5 episode 9. "The first episode is probably one of the most bold that we've ever done in terms of story structure and story telling." They're planting seeds for the audience to put together like a puzzle, similar to what they've done before, but they're taking it to another level because they don't want to do the same thing twice.
The Walking Dead season 6 premieres Sunday, October 11 at 9pm on AMC.

'The Walking Dead' Interview: Feeling Mission-less, Finding Peace in Killing and Introducing 'Bubble Safety'
Sunday, October 11, 2015
Meredith Jacobs
Contributing Writer, BuddyTV
The comic books are like a road map, executive producer David Alpert shared when he, Sonequa Martin-Green and Michael Cudlitz discussed The Walking Dead at San Diego Comic-Con.
Walking Dead Promotes Three Actors to Series Regulars, Releases Season 6 Key Art>>>
Sasha and Abraham's Mindsets
"In that moment, as Sasha, I didn't feel that I deserved to live," Martin-Green said when discussing the scene with Sasha lying with the walkers, "the meeting with death." "I was carrying a lot of guilt, a burden too heavy for me to carry. I was in the company of these noble, wonderful men, who all hoped for a better life and I never did, and yet here I am." The only peace Sasha got was by killing. (And interesting fact: she was eight months pregnant while shooting that scene.) "That's what happens, right?" the actress said of Sasha pushing people away. "A lot of times, depression and those traumatic times in people's live are also times of isolation."
As for how Abraham was handling things as season 5 ended, he took over as leader of the construction crew in Alexandria, but not because he wanted to or he really had a choice. "Not being the leader was going to get him killed," Cudlitz explained. "It had nothing to do with anything more than self-preservation."
While Abraham may enjoy the safety, he doesn't like the quiet. He's all about "what's next?" but right now, they're sort of "mission-less." "That's how he lives his life. It's mission to mission. Whatever the mission is, whatever the project is, full focus, onto the next thing," he shared. "There's no desire to take over, there's no desire to lead in a big scale unless it's needed." He'll do what's needed for him to do.
The Walking Dead Interview: Rick's 'Not Willing to Compromise>>>
The Comic Book as a Road Map and the Weight of Deaths
According to Alpert, they're "roughly following weaving in and out of the road maps set up from the comic book." They've been on the road and in the woods and in places that seemed safe but weren't, so "to be in a place where there's a semblance of actual civilization is an entirely different thing." Who these characters are influences how they react to the new environment. "Seeing how this introduction of bubble safety, how that affects everybody and their dynamics" is what they're going to be playing with in season 6.
"Some of the best moments of the show that gave me exactly what I want are the deaths," Alpert admitted, specifically naming Hershel's death and the subsequent reactions. "It's the actors that pull us in and give us emotional access to feel that journey."

Re: Walking Dead season 6
S6, Ep 1.
On The Talking Dead , Greg Nicotero said that they had 3,000 extras in those mass Walker scenes. It was the most 'ambitious' episode they've ever done. 300 of them were in closeups so those had to have detailed, 'realistic' makeup. They had 15 makeup artists working from 4:30 am and ran them through the trailer in groups.

Re: Walking Dead season 6
While Morgan and Carol really stepped up to defend Alexandria in ep 2, we also see that there are a lot of wusses in Alexandria who are a threat to themselves and the whole community unless they "get over it" . Deanna in particular as the the titular leader of Alexandria really needs to get a grip. Enid will be back as a more major character as the actress playing her hinted at on The Talking Dead. She's only ~16 or so and needs to tone down her lipstick as she wore on The Talking Dead, but otherwise seems nice.

'The Walking Dead' Recap: Carol and Morgan Fight the Wolves
Megan Cole
Contributing Writer, BuddyTV
In the season 6 premiere of The Walking Dead, Rick led his people and the Alexandrians in a dangerous plan to lure hundreds of walkers out of a quarry and away from Alexandria. Alas, things went awry when a horn started blaring, drawing the walkers off the chosen path and straight toward the sound. And since that sound was coming from Alexandria, things did not look good for the people back home.
In this episode, "JSS," we see who sounded the horn and why, as those left behind in Alexandria are faced with a dangerous threat. We also learn more about Carl's friend Enid and get the introduction of another popular comics character in Merritt Wever's Denise. While the season premiere delivered a lot of cool zombie action, this episode is even more intense and gives the secondary characters a chance to shine.
The Walking Dead Premiere Recap: Can the Alexandrians Bend to Rick's Will Before It's Too Late? >>>
Enid and Denise
The opening scene of the episode gives us a look at Enid's backstory. After her parents are killed by walkers, Enid is alone for a very long time. She copes with this by writing 'JSS' into every surface she can find. She struggles to survive, stooping so low as to eat a turtle to keep from starving, before she makes her way to Alexandria. She almost does not go in, suggesting that she has been skittish about joining the community right from the beginning.
After exploring Enid's backstory, the episode continues to move slowly, giving us a glimpse of how everyone in Alexandria is coping after the deaths of Pete and Reg. Jessie is having a hard time connecting with Ron, who resents her friendship with Rick and lashes out in that annoying way teenagers often do.
Sam is still going to Carol for support, but she sends him home after telling him that if he does not accept his father's death, it will eat him up. We then see Maggie working to help Deanna move past her grief. She wants Deanna to help her start planting seeds for a vegetable garden, and she tells Deanna that her people need to see that she is still their leader.
Before the action kicks off, we meet a new character. Denise, recognizable to fans of the comic, is the town doctor now that Pete is dead. She was a psychiatrist before the world fell apart, so she feels like she is in over her head now that everyone is expecting her to step up. Tara tries to boost her confidence and acts as her first patient. Eugene is his usual self and points out one way Denise could kill Tara despite Tara only having a dizzy spell. Never change, Eugene.
The Wolves Arrive
Carol is in the kitchen cooking when she looks out her window and sees a woman get killed by a man with an ax. The Wolves have gotten inside the walls and are killing everyone they come across. Carol tells Carl to stay in the house and protect Judith while she heads outside to see what she can do. Carol moves quickly and quietly but is unable to help most of the people she runs across, including one of her fellow housewives.
Meanwhile, Spencer is in the clock tower, failing to be of any real use as he tries to shoot some of the Wolves entering the community. He also fails to notice the truck headed straight for the clock tower until it is too late. Once it crashes, the horn goes off, hence the sound we heard in the season premiere. Spencer manages to get out of the tower and goes to shut off the horn, but there is a walker in the truck and he hesitates. Luckily for everyone, Morgan arrives just at that moment, takes care of the walker and shuts off the horn. Morgan then goes inside to help.
Once inside, Morgan runs into one of the Wolves. He plans to let the guy live, but Carol shows up in disguise as one of Wolves and kills the guy. Carol wants Morgan to help her get to the armory because the Wolves do not have guns, and if they can get some, they will have an advantage.
Morgan tries to argue that they do not need to kill these people, but Carol is not having it. She chains Morgan up to help sell the disguise and it works until Morgan runs off to help someone being attacked. Carol, meanwhile, uses her disguise to kill a few more Wolves before she finally makes it to the armory. Once there, she stocks up on guns and heads back into the fight.
Morgan is on his own again when he comes across a group of Wolves. He starts to fight them with his stick, all the while telling them that it does not have to be like this. He says that his people have guns and they do not, and they will be killed. He also says if they keep choosing to act like this, they will be killed sooner or later. One of the Wolves says they did not choose this life, but he nods to the others and they decide to leave rather than facing the angry, armed Alexandrians. Morgan closes the gate behind them once they are gone. I like Morgan, but knowing what we do about this show, his decision to let these people leave alive is going to come back to haunt him.
But Morgan does not avoid killing everyone in this episode. When the fighting is all but over, Morgan finds the leader of the Wolves hiding out in one of the houses. This is the same guy he let live in the previous season. Morgan and this man fight, and Morgan tries to take the high road once again, but this guy is not letting up. He keeps coming at Morgan, telling him that he should have killed him the last time. Finally, Morgan has had enough and he kills the man. The episode ends with a distraught Morgan passing Carol on the street after the Wolves have all been killed or run off.
The highlight of this episode, other than the intense action, is the dynamic between Morgan and Carol. They have such a different outlook on survival in this world, but they are both clearly survivors. Is one of them in the right while the other is wrong? Is anything that simple in this world? I am interested to see how their relationship develops from here on out and if they end up changing one another's perspective as the season continues.
Walking Dead Promotes Three Actors to Series Regulars >>>
Jessie Steps Up
When the chaos erupts, Jessie tries to run outside to look for Ron, but she hears people approaching and decides to lock herself and Sam in the closet with the latch. Eventually, she hears Ron return home and sneaks out of the closet to try and protect him. She yells for him to stay outside moments before she is attacked by one of the Wolves.
Jessie and this woman engage in a brutal fight until Jessie is knocked out. But she does not stay down long and waits for an opening to ambush the woman. Jessie gets the upper hand and kills the woman by stabbing her multiple times, just as Ron walks into the house. So that probably will not help their already strained relationship, but I dislike Ron and love that Jessie sprung into action in such a major way.
Denise is Put to the Test
Early on in the fight, a badly injured Holly is brought into the clinic. I think this is the first time we have actually seen Holly, though she has been mentioned in several previous episodes. I assume she is meant to be the Holly from the comics, but since we do not know anything about her, I cannot say for sure. Holly has internal bleeding and Denise is ready to call it because Holly needs a surgeon and she does not think she is up to the task. But Tara and Eugene talk her into giving it a shot. Unfortunately, nothing Denise does is enough to save Holly, and Denise kicks everyone out after Holly dies. Will Holly's death make it harder for Denise to step up in the future or will she be proud of herself for trying even if Holly still died?
Fall TV 2015: Shows You Should Catch Up On Right Now >>>
Other Happenings
-- Carol finds Olivia hiding in the armory and has to shed her helpless housewife disguise in order to help Olivia. She arms Olivia with a weapon, gives her a brief lesson on how to use the gun and tells her to lock herself inside and shoot anyone who comes through the door. Will Olivia let it slip that Carol is not who she is pretending to be or will she keep Carol's secret? Did any of the other Alexandrians spot Warrior Carol running around town taking out attackers left and right?
-- Deanna and Maggie are outside the walls when the Wolves arrive. Deanna decides to remain outside the walls because she does not have a gun and she thinks she would only get in the way if she tries to help. Maggie leaves Spencer to watch over her, as he refused to go inside too. I like Deanna, but if she is going to continue to lead this community, she needs to learn how to defend herself. And the Alexandrians really need to put someone other than Spencer on clock tower duty. I know Sasha is out on the mission with the others, but is Spencer really the only other person they can put up there?
-- Aaron and Rosita also help in the fight against the Wolves, but at the end of it all, Aaron finds the bag he lost last season on one of the dead Wolves. He finds pictures of the community inside the bag and realizes this is how the Wolves found Alexandria. Oh, Aaron. I hope he does not blame himself too much.
-- In one of the episode's final scenes, we finally learn what 'JSS' stands for. When the attack first begins, Enid goes to Carl's house to say goodbye, determined to leave because Alexandria is too big to protect. Carl convinces her to stay and help him protect Judith, but at the end of the episode, Carl realizes that Enid is gone. She did leave him a note, though: "Just Survive Somehow." I doubt this is the last we will see of Enid, but if it is, I am glad we got to learn a bit more about her before her disappearance.
What did you think of this episode of The Walking Dead? Were you caught off guard by the Wolves' attack? Did you suspect that they were behind the horn from the season premiere? Was Morgan wrong to let some of the Wolves live? Are they going to come back and attack Alexandria again? What do you think of Denise? Were you pleased with Enid's backstory? Can we all agree that Melissa McBride owned this episode as Carol broke out of her housewife ruse to defend the place she has come to call home at any cost? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section.

The Walking Dead airs Sunday nights at 9pm on AMC.

Re: Walking Dead season 6
The social fabric has never been so close to being torn asunder as it is right now. After last night we really have to wonder....is life worth living ? Not since the Red Wedding episode on Game of Thrones has such a threat to modern life and order been so stark. We hunker down, conserve resources and see what happens next. It's anyone's guess...and these rumors and speculations certainly don't help !.......

The Walking Dead Season 6 shocked fans on Sunday night when they seemingly killed off the beloved character of Glenn Rhee. While everyone was reeling from Glenn’s apparent death many viewers may have missed a big moment that could lead to a life changing event for the show’s main character, Rick Grimes.
According to ComicBook.com, during the scene where Rick is killing a small group of walkers on the road and he breaks his knife off in one of the zombie’s heads he then pulls out a machete to kill the rest of the undead walkers. During this scene Rick then cuts his hand deeply with the machete that is covered with zombie blood.

The Walking Dead Rick cuts his hand, will he lose it?
AMC
While fans of The Walking Dead know that everyone in this post-apocalyptic world is already infected with whatever virus it is that causes the death to come back to life as zombies, the comic book series readers know that Rick cutting his hand could be the gateway to him losing that hand for good. While in the graphic novels Rick loses his hand because of The Governor, who is long dead on the TV series, this could be the story line that leaves our favorite sheriff a little less than himself.
It seems that The Walking Dead Season 6 is going for pure shock value. After Sunday’s episode where fans watch as Glenn was seemingly torn apart by walkers and killed (Although many believe it was Nicholas’ body that we saw get devoured by zombies and that Glenn is somehow still alive.) it seems that anything and everything can and will happen during this season.
If Glenn is really dead and Rick actually loses his hand those would be two of the most shocking moments in the show’s history, leaving fans completely stunned and in disbelief. However, that may only be just the beginning.

Is Glenn really dead on The Walking Dead?
AMC
Other reports and rumors about Season 6 of TWD reveal that Carl’s life is also in danger and that something unexpected will also happen to him. As the zombie heard continues to be a danger, rumors are flying that in the mid-season finale of The Walking Dead, which is episode 8 of the season, walkers will get in to Alexandria and cause a lot of destruction.
The alleged big event of the mid-season finale is that Jessie’s youngest son will get taken by zombie’s and she’ll try to save him while holding on to Carl, and refusing to let go. Rick will need to save his son from also going down with Jessie and her young son. So, he’ll make the crazy decision to cut off Jessie’s arm freeing Carl from her grasp. Of course Jessie will then be done for and her oldest son Ron will want revenge.
Ron will reportedly draw his gun and aim at Rick. However, Carl will see this and jump in front of the gun trying to save his father. Ron will then shoot Carl’s eye out and he’ll lose sight in one of his eyes forever.
Whatever happens throughout the duration of Season 6, The Walking Dead fans are already feeling anticipation, nervousness, shock, and heartbreak over the events that have already transpired in only three episodes. Everyone is hoping that by some miracle Glenn is still alive and that Rick will be okay, but as fans of the crazy AMC show know, no one is safe in this harsh world that Robert Kirkman has created.
Be sure to tune in to The Walking Dead every Sunday on AMC at 9 p.m. to find out how it all ends up.
What are your thoughts on the latest Walking Dead spoilers? Is Glenn really dead? Will Rick lose his hand and Carl his eye?

Re: Walking Dead season 6
Last night was an interesting episode showing Morgan's 'back story' during the time that he had 'disappeared' from the main cast experiences, from the first episode of S1 where he showed Rick what must be done to survive (he had to shoot his own wife who become a Walker), and in S3 where he was well and truly 'crazy', until he showed up at the end of the last ep of S4 where he was shown looking at the map of how to get to Terminus. That scene was re-shown last night and then we were able to piece together the timeline of how his experiences with Eastman fit in. I can't think of another show that would attempt such a thing or assume that its fans would be able to figure it out. Kudos !
