Yeah... has she been on before. I remember past episodes that involved an umbrella but I can't remember the details.

The show began with a quote about the yellow umbrella

I've never heard of that actress, not surprising since I don't see Broadway shows and never watch the TV shows she's been on, except The Sopranos, and that was too long ago to remember, and it was a small part..

Not to sound snarky, and after all it is fiction, but she is a step down from Robin, but then who isn't ?

Apparently she did very well in her Broadway show, so I am willing to give her a chance. She sort of reminded me of our "Liz" . But she does have a lot to prove to get good reviews.

At least I'm glad they didn't go with some stunt casting like Myley Cyrus or Katie Perry. This will be easier to accept.

Casting any famous actress in that role would have had the fans in an uproar. Can you imagine Ted married to Myley ? Yikes !

I'm sure they know they have got a lot riding on fans liking this woman. So I'm willing to give her a chance to charm. Ted deserves to have a great wife.
