Re: Dr Who
I'm pretty sure this is part one of the season. It puts us more in synch with the BBC airings so the Christmas Special really does fall at Christmas..when they first came back it was kind of odd, Christmas in the middle of summer.

Re: Dr Who
I thought the episode was wonderful, particularly the ending..which did make me use the kleenex.
Bridget said on Facebook that she thought the writers had created their own paradox. Well yay! If that is what was intended....Seeing the Doctor so sad...reminded me Tenant...I don't know why... I thought Matt did a great job.

Re: Dr Who
I guess I'm the only one who doesn't see any point of having River Song in the series. That character doesn't do anything for the story.

You are not the first person I've heard say that. She is after all the daughter of Rory and Amy...she even called Amy "Mother" in the last episode. And, she is the doctor's wife...so it would seem that this is the time they spend together now that Rory and Amy are gone. I can think of dozen ways to spin this time period and I hope that when the Christmas Special airs we just don't see RiverSong at all and then wonder whether we will ever see her again. There has to be some turning point that explains why she and the Dr race thru time in opposite directions. After all, how did that happen and why? Did someone do that to them as a curse? Was it part of the RiverSong giving up all her regenrations or something to do with her "killing the doctor?" You see I think Bridget is right...there is a paradox...I think she thinks it involves Rory and Amy...I think it involves Riversong. Am I asking that this be sewn up a little better than it is thus far? Probably.
Re: Dr Who

Re: Dr Who
Thanks for posting this! I'll miss a good part of it but I'll be eager to see "The Snowmen."
Re: Dr Who
Have my exciting new TARDIS mug...all ready for the special over here.
From hearing the journal it looks like they only see each other occasionally. Not really worried too much about River....either way.

Re: Dr Who
I was told that they have not set a date yet. Too early...that from the Gallifrey board which usually knows EVERYTHING about Dr. Who. But hey, if you've got "connections" and can tease it out of the writers or something, go for it! :D
